We are glad to see that you have come with a repentant heart seeking forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 (WEB). The scripture is clear that to approach the Father, we must come in the name of Jesus Christ. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6 (WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has asked for your forgiveness. Lord, you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness Psalm 86:15 (WEB). We ask that you forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to walk in your ways and to live a life pleasing to you. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to follow your path. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting your heart to the Lord. We know that coming to Him with a repentant heart is the first step towards forgiveness. It's like the prodigal son in Luke 15, remember? He went to his father, confessed his sins, and was welcomed with open arms. That's our God - He's waiting with open arms too.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
