Humble Servant of All
Two women in my building. One is using meth, and strong prescription drugs like morphine. The other is going to restaurants to drink to kill pain instead of turning to The Comforter, the Holy Spirit.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these two women in your building who are walking in darkness rather than the light of Christ. Father, we know that Your Word declares, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Yet these precious souls are choosing destruction over the abundant life You offer through Your Son.

First, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of these women. The one bound by methamphetamine and morphine is enslaved to substances that are destroying her body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The other, who seeks solace in alcohol rather than You, is turning to temporary relief instead of the eternal comfort only You provide. Father, we cry out for their deliverance, for *"no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him"* (John 6:44 WEB). Draw them, Lord, with cords of love and bands of mercy.

We must also address the sin of substance abuse with truth and love. Your Word warns, *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are"* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 WEB). These women are harming the very vessels You created for Your glory. We pray for conviction to fall upon them—not condemnation, but the godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).

To the one drowning her pain in alcohol, we declare that true comfort is found in Christ alone. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28 WEB). The Holy Spirit is the Comforter (John 14:26), and He is waiting to heal her wounds if she would only turn to Him. We rebuke the lie that alcohol can numb pain, for it only deepens the emptiness. Lord, break the cycle of dependency and replace it with a hunger for Your presence.

To the one trapped in the grip of meth and morphine, we cry out for a miracle of deliverance. Your Word says, *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, body, and spirit, commanding every chain of addiction to be broken in Jesus’ name. Father, surround her with believers who can walk with her in her recovery, for *"iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another"* (Proverbs 27:17 WEB).

We also pray for *you*, the one who has brought this burden before us. You are called to be salt and light in this dark place (Matthew 5:13-14). Ask the Lord if He is calling you to reach out to these women in love, sharing the hope of the gospel with them. Remember, *"Rescue those who are being taken away to death! Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter!"* (Proverbs 24:11 WEB). But do so with wisdom, for addiction is a powerful stronghold, and professional help may be needed.

Lord, we declare that these women are not beyond Your reach. You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We ask for a supernatural encounter with Your love that will shatter the lies they believe. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), and that in You, there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

We pray for their salvation if they do not yet know You as Lord. There is no other name under heaven by which they can be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have never surrendered their lives to Jesus, we ask that You would open their eyes to their need for a Savior. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), so that they may be saved.

Finally, Lord, we ask for a move of Your Spirit in that building. Let Your presence be so tangible that even the hardest hearts cannot deny You. Raise up a community of believers who will stand in the gap for these women, praying, fasting, and loving them into Your kingdom. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father heal and strengthen both these women. Grant them the medical care they might need to overcome this. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬

I see women today teaching the Word of God, and usurping authority over a man. That with me does NOT work. I DO NOT listen to any woman trying to teach the Word of God, and I reject any woman who tries to usurp authority over me. There are women today who are within the five fold ministry of...

Praise you Lord Jesus Christ. Two days ago I was called to the president's office. He told me he is not happy with my performance. I have no want to share, I was hurt, and no want to share my burden. Lord you are the only one who will listen. Father show me the right path, I am speechless, no...
