Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻Repent, therefore, and Turn to God, that Your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of The Lord, and He may send Jesus, The Christ appointed for You, Acts 3:19-20, Save her, not by deeds she has done, but by the washing of the water of regeneration, and Your great love for mankind, so she may engage in good deeds, not foolish ones, Tit 3:3-8 👁️👁 Opened by 💡 of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6 Repents being own god Gen 3:1-15 New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Jn 3:3-7... Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, get saved herself, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Forgive this mother for acting like a care-free teenager and who has broken covenantal faith and vows with no remorse or repentance, for leading men into adultery and thus destruction, Prov 6:32, for neglecting pastoral counsel, texts and phone calls for months. If a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hand, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of God Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37... Thankfully she is in a country that is impossible to get a divorce, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:10, "To the married I give this command (not I, but The Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." I know I have the adultery clause from Jesus which allows me to divorce and remarry, Matt 5:32, Matt 19:9, however only in The Lord, 1 Cor 7:39, see being equally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14-15, Old Testament precedent, Gen 24:3-4. And is she is unsaved, which everything indicates, there is the desertion by an unbelieving spouse clause, 1 Cor 7:15, where traditional, modern and ancient Jewish theology all allow for remarriage as if the unbelieving spouse or the adulteress were "dead." However I am thinking and asking for repentance and salvation here, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 tim 2:1-4, and ask that THAT may yield a remarkable testimony of God's saving grace, 1 Tim 1:15-16, and exemplify Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33. So I again ask for wisdom, Prov 2:1-5, Col 1:9-10, James 1:5, and for love to abound in knowledge and discernment to choose the highest, Phil 1:9-11, yet asking for it loosely as CHRIST in the Garden of Gethsemane, Matt 26:39, Mk 14:36, Luke 22:42.

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn 3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We stand with you in this deeply painful and complex situation, lifting your heart and this marriage before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a profound understanding of God’s desire for repentance, restoration, and salvation, not just for your spouse, but for all involved. We grieve with you over the brokenness of covenantal vows, the hardness of heart, and the spiritual warfare at play. Yet we also rejoice in the hope of the Gospel, for "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).

First, we must address the gravity of the sin at hand. Adultery is a grievous violation of God’s design for marriage, a sacred union meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:32). The Scriptures are clear: "Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; he who does it destroys his own soul" (Proverbs 6:32). Your spouse’s actions, her lack of remorse, her pursuit of divorce, her rejection of reconciliation, are not merely personal failings but rebellion against God’s order. Yet even here, we do not despair, for "where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (Romans 5:20). The same God who hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) is also the God who redeems the broken and restores the repentant.

We rebuke the spirit of hardness and deception that has taken root in her heart. The enemy has blinded her eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we declare that the light of Christ will penetrate that darkness. We pray for a supernatural softening, a heart of flesh to replace her heart of stone (Ezekiel 36:26). Father, we ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Let her see the destruction she has sown, not just in her marriage, but in her own soul. May she remember the vows she made before You and turn from her ways, for "the Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy" (Psalm 145:8).

We also lift up the family members mentioned, especially the one described as compassionate yet unsaved. We pray for their salvation, that they would fear God and walk in His ways (Proverbs 23:17). May they become bold witnesses to the truth, not compromising with sin but standing firm in the Gospel. We ask that You protect the youth in this situation, that they would not stumble because of the hardness of hearts around them (Matthew 18:6). Guard their faith and let them see Your love even in the midst of brokenness.

For you, dear brother, we pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate this painful season. You have rightly cited the Scriptures regarding divorce and remarriage, understanding that while God permits divorce in cases of adultery (Matthew 19:9), His heart is always for reconciliation. We encourage you to continue seeking Him, not just for her salvation, but for your own strength and purity. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).

We also urge you to consider the role of the local church in this process. Have you sought godly counsel from pastors or elders who can walk with you through this? The Scriptures command us not to bear these burdens alone: "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed" (James 5:16). If your spouse remains unrepentant, the church must be prepared to address sin biblically (Matthew 18:15-17), not for condemnation, but for restoration.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in Your power to save and restore. We lift up this marriage to You, asking that You would break the chains of sin and deception that have ensnared this wife. Soften her heart, Lord, and open her eyes to the truth of her actions. Let her see the destruction she has caused and turn to You in genuine repentance. We declare that no sin is too great for Your grace, and we ask that You would redeem this situation for Your glory.

For our brother, we pray for strength, wisdom, and discernment. Guard his heart from bitterness and resentment, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give him the courage to stand firm in Your truth while extending grace and love, just as Christ has loved us. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when the path is unclear.

We also pray for the family members involved. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and use this situation to bring them to salvation. Let them see Your love and Your truth in action, and may they become bold witnesses for You.

Father, we ask that You would protect this marriage from further harm. Keep the enemy from gaining a foothold, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We declare that this is not the end of the story, You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). May this family experience Your healing and restoration in ways that bring glory to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who intercedes for us at Your right hand (Romans 8:34). May Your will be done, and may Your name be praised in all things. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. Even if reconciliation does not come, He is still good, and He is still sovereign. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, praying and believing for God’s best in this situation.

It’s clear from your prayer that you’ve been pouring out your heart for your wife, fasting, reaching out, holding onto hope for her repentance and the restoration of your marriage. That kind of long, costly love is rare, and we don’t want to overlook the weight of what you’re carrying. When months pass with silence and a spouse refuses to reconcile, the grief can feel overwhelming, like a death that never gets a funeral. That’s not weak faith; that’s the pain of a covenant broken on her side, and it deserves honest acknowledgment.

While you continue to pray and entrust her to God, we’d gently encourage you to also let trustworthy people walk closely with you through this. A pastor, a mature Christian friend, or a counselor who shares your convictions can help you steward your own heart, not just your prayers. In the long wait, it’s easy to become so absorbed in her spiritual state that you neglect your own need for comfort, clarity, and healing. You are not abandoning hope by letting yourself grieve or by finding steady support; you are letting God care for you in the middle of the storm.

We also want to say simply: God sees your faithful love. He is not distant from your tears or your fasts. Whether or not she ever softens, His presence with you remains sure. Keep bringing her name before the throne, but leave the outcome in hands wiser than ours.

Let us pray:

Father, we lift up this husband who loves his wife with a tenacious, aching love. You know every detail of their story, every attempt at reconciliation, and every moment of silence. Please protect her from further harm and deception; open her eyes to Your truth and kindness. Give this man wisdom to know how to wait, when to speak, and when to rest. Surround him with people who will hold his arms up when he grows weary. Sustain his hope, but anchor it always in You, not in a certain outcome. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You have poured out your soul before the throne of grace, and the Lord has heard the groanings of your spirit. Cast your burden upon Him, for He cares for the deep trouble you carry over this wandering one. I perceive the anguish mingled with holy longing, that she who has broken covenant and silenced her ears to counsel might yet be snatched as a brand from the burning, and that the God of all grace would make her a monument of mercy. Let this be your comfort: the arm of the Lord is not shortened, and the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness flows still.

Yet take heed, I beseech you, that you do not mistake any mere outward turning for that inward miracle of grace which alone is repentance unto life. The judgments of God, the bitterness of sin’s consequences, may wring tears from the eyes and wring words of regret from the lips, but these of themselves never melted a heart of stone. Law and terrors do but harden if they work alone. It is a sense of blood-bought pardon, the sight of Christ crucified for a sinner’s guilt, that dissolves the rocky heart into a heart of flesh. Her remorse, should it ever appear, may be but the repentance of a Cain or a Saul, which is carnal and ends in despair or deeper rebellion. The repentance that is the gift of God is born at the cross; it is a sweet sorrow that hates the sin because it offends so kind a Savior, and it turns to Him with childlike trust. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, and it is not placed within the power of the flesh.

Therefore, do not fix your hope upon her shame or fright, but upon the mighty working of Him who said, “I will take away the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” If she is ever to be saved, it must be by the sovereign, distinguishing grace of God. Salvation is of the Lord. The plan, the price, the power, and the perfection, all lie in His hands. You cannot break her stony heart, but He who made it can in a moment make it tender. Lay her continually at the feet of Jesus, who is exalted to give repentance and remission of sins. He does not require that she first repent in her own strength; rather, He bestows repentance as a gift of His ascension. Plead the covenant promises: a new heart, a new spirit, His law written within. These are the legacies of the blood of the everlasting covenant, and they are yea and amen in Christ.

As for yourself, walk in all wisdom and love. Let your life be a living epistle of the grace you desire for her. While you wait, let not bitterness take root, nor let a harsh spirit mar the testimony. The Christ who loved His church and gave Himself for her is your pattern, He loved not because we were lovely, but to make us so. Fasting, prayer, and holy living are blessed means to fan the flame of intercession, but remember, the victory lies not in the length of your cries nor the severity of your fasts, but in the faithful God who hears. He who wept over Jerusalem still yearns over wanderers. And if at last she remains as the deaf adder, remember that your own stand on the truth of marriage and the commands of Christ is not in vain, for you honor God by cleaving to His Word when it costs you dear.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. The day may yet break when the prodigal returns, not driven merely by fear, but drawn by cords of love and the secret call of the Good Shepherd. Then will your present sorrow be swallowed up in the testimony of His praise, and you shall see that salvation, from first to last, is wholly of grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You do well to grieve for the soul of your wife, for such sorrow is godly and works repentance unto salvation, a repentance without regret. This anguish of heart Paul also felt when he wrote with many tears for the sins of others, not for himself but for them, and he counted it a blessed pain. The Lord pronounces blessed those who so mourn, for they sympathize with the lost as Christ wept over Jerusalem. Indeed, this grief comes from a soul devoted to God, full of brotherly and fatherly affection, and it is greater than any worldly joy.

Continue therefore in the remedies you have begun. Fasting, alms, prayers, compunction, a contrite heart, contempt of possessions, God has marked out for us innumerable ways of salvation. Add these to your wrestling, and do not grow weary because her heart remains as stone. He who promised to remove the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh is faithful; He can write His law upon her inward parts. She now feeds on raisin cakes, sweet but deadly pleasures, yet the light of the knowledge of God's glory can shine into that darkness and open her eyes. The salvation is by a very short way: if she will confess with her mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, she will be saved. This short word carries not only salvation but also righteousness.

Do not despise the bond of marriage, for marriage is a bond ordained by God, a sweet ointment. What she has done, breaking covenant and leading others into adultery, is a severing and a dissolving, a foul stench introduced into the preparation of that ointment. Yet for all this, there remains repentance. Let no one think a second sacrifice is required; Christ's one offering perfected forever those who are sanctified. But the washing of regeneration and the renewal of the Holy Spirit remain for those who turn. Repentance is not taken away, nor the propitiation through it. He does not thrust away the fallen with despair.

You have indeed the word of the Lord concerning adultery and desertion, but your desire for her salvation is a higher thing. Wait yet, and let your fasting and tears rise as incense. Sympathize with her destruction, as Paul burned when others were offended, as Christ yearned over the unwilling city. Let your sorrow be not worldly, grieving only for comfort lost, but godly, seeking her soul from death. In this you have no regret, for no one condemns himself who has sorrowed for sin.

And as you remember your own sins forgiven, turn your heart to thanksgiving. The Jews recounted the deliverances of Egypt; much more should we, bearing in mind how often God has held His hand over us when we had perished. Thank Him daily, for thankfulness brings a large recompense. In this trial, the maiden did not ascend to the Bridegroom; He came down to her, poor and contemptible, and when the marriage was consummated He transported her to His Father's house. So may He do for her, bringing her back not only to you but to the household of faith, that you may both be partakers of the inheritance with the sanctified.

Only continue in prayer, in alms, in humility. Let your own life be an epistle read by her, and leave the rest to the Lord who makes a short word upon the earth. To whom be glory and might forever. Amen.
