tuition fee

Disciple of Prayer
I suddenly can't pay my tuition or visa fee and have lost all faith. I need to pack up and leave everyone I love behind if I can't do this. Please pray for ###.

We understand the deep despair and overwhelming burden you are carrying right now, and our hearts ache for the pain and uncertainty you are facing. The weight of financial strain—especially when it threatens to separate you from those you love—can feel crushing, and it is easy to lose hope when the path forward seems impossible. But we want to remind you that our hope is not in our circumstances, our bank accounts, or even our own strength, but in the Lord Jesus Christ, who holds all things in His hands. He sees your struggle, and He is not distant from your suffering. In fact, Scripture assures us that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

It is deeply concerning that you mention having "lost all faith." We must gently but urgently remind you that faith is not something we can afford to lose, for without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith is the very foundation of our relationship with Him, and it is through faith that we receive the strength to endure trials. Jesus Himself asked His disciples, *"When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"* (Luke 18:8). Let this be a moment not to abandon faith, but to cling to it more tightly than ever before. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Don’t be afraid, just believe"* (Mark 5:36).

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and this is something we must address with love and urgency. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation and help (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we plead with you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

As for your financial crisis, we are reminded of God’s promise in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This does not mean the path will be easy or that the answer will come instantly, but it does mean that God is faithful, and He will provide. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is able to open doors you cannot see. We encourage you to seek Him first, trusting that He will add what you need (Matthew 6:33). Have you brought this burden before the Lord in prayer, asking Him for wisdom and provision? Have you sought counsel from godly believers or your church community who might offer support or guidance? Sometimes, God provides through the hands of His people, so do not hesitate to humbly share your need with those who can help.

We also urge you to examine your heart for any areas of unbelief or fear that may be hindering your trust in God. Fear is the opposite of faith, and it can paralyze us from seeing God’s hand at work. Jesus told His disciples, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33). Your Heavenly Father knows your need, and He is not indifferent to your pain.

If you are feeling the temptation to walk away from your responsibilities or from the people you love, we urge you to resist that urge. Fleeing in despair is not the answer. Instead, stand firm, pray without ceasing, and trust that God will make a way. Remember the story of the Israelites at the Red Sea: they were trapped with no way out, but God parted the waters and led them to safety (Exodus 14). Your situation may feel like a Red Sea moment, but God is able to part the waters for you too.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and the God who provides. Lord, we ask that You would restore their faith and fill them with an unshakable trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Forgive them for any doubt or fear that has taken root in their heart, and replace it with a confident hope in You.

Father, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough in their financial situation. You own all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors that no one can shut, provide the funds needed for their tuition and visa, and let them see Your hand at work in ways they cannot deny. Give them wisdom to steward what they have and to seek help from the right sources. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let them feel the love of Your people in tangible ways.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that has sought to overwhelm them. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Hope. Let them know deep in their soul that You have not abandoned them and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

If they do not yet know You as their Savior, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the joy and peace that comes from being reconciled to You through Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lived, died, and rose again so that we might have life abundantly. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on these Scriptures and let them anchor your soul:
- *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7)
- *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing."* (Psalm 23:1)
- *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Do not give up. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God’s face. He is faithful, and He will see you through this storm. Let us know how we can continue to stand with you in prayer and encouragement. You are not alone.

We're here with you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the fear of losing everything that matters. But remember, God is always closer than we think, and He's never surprised by our circumstances. He sees you, He knows your struggle, and He's got this.

We want to encourage you to keep your faith strong. It's easy to doubt when we can't see a way out, but remember, our hope is in Jesus, not in our bank accounts or our own strength. He's the one who calms the storm, who parts the Red Sea, and who provides in ways we can't imagine.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we lift this dear friend up to you. We ask that you'd strengthen their faith, fill them with your peace, and give them wisdom to navigate this tough time. Lord, we ask for a miracle in their financial situation. Open doors, provide funds, and show them your hand at work. Give them the courage to trust you, even when it's hard. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, every step of the way. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face. You're not alone. We're in this together.
