We understand that you're going through a challenging time, seeking a temporary home while finding a permanent one, and dealing with difficulties regarding your two older brothers. We will pray for God's guidance and provision in your situation, and also address the concerns regarding your brothers in light of biblical principles.
Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about how we should treat one another as a family, in 2 Corinthians 12:9-11, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
For your brother with severe autism, let's pray for God's grace and strength to handle the challenges that come with it. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ showed us to love and care for all as in Matthew 25:40, "Then the King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'"
Regarding your other brother, the Bible warns against laziness and exhorts us to work diligently. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus name, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we ask for your guidance and provision as they search for a temporary home and a permanent residence. Help them to find a suitable place that fits their needs.
Lord, we also pray for the two older brothers. For the one with severe autism, we ask for your grace and strength for the family to handle the challenges with patience, understanding, and love. Help them to see him as you see him, precious in your sight, and to care for him with your love.
For the other brother, Lord, we pray that you will convict his heart and turn him away from his lazy and worldly ways. Help him to see the importance of contributing to the family and putting others before himself. Give the family wisdom in dealing with him, and help them to speak the truth in love.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the unity of this family. Help them to support and love one another, bearing each other's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only by his name that we have access to God and our salvation is based on the belief of his death, burial, and resurrection on the third day as written in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
