Prayer Warrior
Jesus I'm disappointed that something went wrong with my prayer earlier, ouch and someone had written something on one of my other prayers before. I don't want to give up because it's nice to have a website to share prayers. I don't have much money to get through to next week and I am very anxious over my dispute with someone who harmed me even though I have apologised for what I said. The noise and disruption here continues but the weather has been better, less damp. I will refresh my search for a new home next week. RIght now I need protection, provision and forgiveness, and as soon as possible, better medical access, please, Jesus.

We hear your heart in this and we thank you for not giving up and for coming again to share your prayers, for we know the Lord hears every prayer even when technology fails or when others may have written hurtful things before. We encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer, for Jesus taught that we ought always to pray and not to faint as in Luke 18:1.

We lift up your anxiety over finances and over the dispute with the one who harmed you. You have done what is right in apologizing for what you said, and we commend you for seeking peace. Scripture says in Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. And in Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We pray you will be able to release that burden of anxiety to the Lord and also to extend forgiveness even as you have sought it, trusting God to be your defender and to bring justice in His time. For your financial need to get through this next week, we are reminded in Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. And in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We thank God with you that the weather has been better and less damp, for every good gift comes from Him, and we understand how wearying the ongoing noise and disruption are while you wait to search again for a new home next week. We pray for His protection over you right where you are. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We also bring your need for better medical access before the Lord, for He is our healer. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved as Acts 4:12 teaches.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the disappointment and the hurt from before, and we ask You to heal that wound and to give perseverance and peace. Provide, Lord, for the financial need to get through this next week, open doors for provision and work and help according to Your riches in glory. Grant protection over this home from noise and disruption and from any harm, and let Your peace guard this heart that is anxious over this dispute. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and bring reconciliation where it is Your will, or bring release and healing if that relationship cannot be restored. Forgive us our sins as we forgive others, and cleanse us through the blood of Jesus as promised in 1 John 1:9. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and provision in the search for a new home next week, lead to a quiet, safe, dry place to live. And Father, we ask for better and sooner medical access, touch the body with healing and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let Your will be done in all these things. We cast all these cares on You because You care for us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We're glad you tried again after the trouble with your earlier prayer and the hurtful comment on another one. It makes sense that felt discouraging, and we appreciate you not giving up. We're grateful this can be a place for you to share honestly.

We hear how much is weighing on you right now. Stretching money to get through the next week, the anxiety over the dispute with someone who harmed you even as you've apologized for your part, and the ongoing noise and disruption at home would leave anyone feeling on edge. We're glad the better, less damp weather has brought a little relief.

Your plan to refresh the search for a new home next week sounds like a steady next step when you have a bit more margin. For the practical pressures, it can help to make a simple list of what has to be covered this week and to reach out early to a local church, advice service or support agency if you need help bridging the gap. For medical care, please keep letting your GP or clinic know you need to be seen, and let them know how the anxiety and the wait are affecting you day to day. We will keep praying alongside those steps, not instead of them.

We pray for you now. Father, we ask in Jesus' name for Your protection over this home, for daily provision this week, for Your forgiveness and peace over what has been said and done, and for a clear path to the medical care needed. Give rest from anxiety and guide the search for a quieter, safer place to live. Amen.

I am sorry about this, please know that Jesus forgives you. Also we are still accountable for our actions but Jesus will show us mercy! I will be keeping you in my prayers, I am praying for this in Jesus name, amen.

Your perseverance in coming again to lay these burdens before the Lord is itself a gracious sign, and we thank you for sharing your heart so openly after the disappointment of a prayer going astray and unkind words written before. Do not give up seeking Him, for He has said, Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out, and if your one anxiety is to be laid at His feet that He may look upon you and save you, He will assuredly accept you.

You have asked above all for forgiveness, and to that need we would point you first, for there is forgiveness with God, and that is where you must find it. The Scripture does not say there is forgiveness for this sin or for that alone, but simply, There is forgiveness, and where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. However sinful your life may have been until now, however heavy your sense of what you have said in this painful dispute, there is forgiveness with Him through Jesus Christ His Son, who died the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. Do as Luther did when in dark distress, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself. It is a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions, surprising and complete, an absolute blotting out of the debt as a creditor forgives all that is owed, and an eternal forgiveness, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He never plays fast and loose with men. If you tremble and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, come to Christ now, for there is forgiveness now, at this moment, to be obtained from God through His Son, and He continues daily to forgive.

You speak also of anxiety about money to get through the week, and about this dispute with one who harmed you. Our Saviour says, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs, not that you should be imprudent, but that worry and fretfulness should not master you. Anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor brought any grist to the mill or meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him, for He knows you have need of these things. We will pray that the Lord will give you provision for this week, protection in the midst of noise and disruption, and wisdom and grace in the dispute, having already shown a tender conscience in apologising for your part, to continue in a spirit of forgiveness as we have been forgiven.

We are glad to hear the weather has been better and less damp, and we understand the strain of waiting for a new home and for better medical access. With forgiveness there comes also healing, for the Lord joins them together. The people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity, and the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. We will ask the Great Physician to grant you that better medical access as soon as possible, to guard your health, and to keep you under His shelter until a more settled and quiet home is provided in His good time.

Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness that Thou mayest be feared, look upon this Thy child who comes again to Thy feet. Speak that blessed whisper, There is forgiveness, and let it drive away despair. Wash away sin through the blood of Jesus Christ and give settled peace. Give daily bread for the week ahead, guard from harm and from anxious fear, still the disruption or sustain through it, and in Thy mercy open the way to needful medical care and to a safe home. Keep this one from being cast down by disappointment, and let Your healing and pardon be known together, for Jesus sake. Amen.
