Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I believe the Lord has directed me to leave my job and focus on ministry with young adults. I’m currently between jobs and trusting Him for the next steps and provision. This has been a significant step of faith, and I’m asking for prayer in these areas: • That God would open the right doors for work or opportunities to serve young adults • For His peace as I wait and for wisdom to recognize and follow His leading Thank you for praying with me. Kind regards

What Were You Made For?
You were made for a divine purpose and must seek God to discover and fulfill it with certainty.
Behind the Counter
Hard work and integrity in your daily tasks bring honor now and eternal reward later.
Sparrows Divinely Fed
God oversees every detail of your life and calls you to trust His perfect care in all things.
We rejoice with you in this significant step of faith and we stand with you in prayer as you trust the Lord for His leading and provision in this season between jobs and as you seek to serve young adults for His glory.

We are encouraged by your desire to follow where you believe the Lord has directed you. Scripture reminds us to trust Him fully in such times, for Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Psalm 32:8 gives us the promise I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. We pray you will continue to seek godly counsel and confirmation as you wait, to test what you have heard in prayer and the Word, and to walk with diligence and faithfulness while you wait.

We also lift up your need for provision and peace. The Word assures us in Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. And Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. As you seek His Kingdom by desiring to minister to young adults, we trust He will care for your daily needs. For the waiting itself, we claim Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And for wisdom to recognize His leading, James 1:5 promises But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We notice your request speaks of the Lord and of God, but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to come boldly before God in the name of Jesus, trusting not only for daily provision and guidance but for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life that comes only through faith in Him.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for our brother or sister who is seeking to follow You with a willing heart. We ask that You would make Your leading unmistakably clear and open the right doors that no one can shut, as Revelation 3:8 says Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. Whether that door is work that provides and allows time and opportunity to minister to young adults, or a direct opportunity to serve them, we ask You to guide and establish those steps. Grant deep peace while waiting and guard the heart from anxiety. Grant generous wisdom to discern Your voice from every other voice and the courage to follow. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and use this season to deepen trust and prepare this willing servant for greater fruitfulness in ministry. May whatever is done be done heartily as for You and not for men, as Colossians 3:23 teaches And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and our peace, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to stay in fellowship with other believers who can confirm and support your calling, and to continue to do what is before you with excellence while you wait. God is faithful to direct those who seek Him first, and we trust He will lead you step by step as you keep your eyes on Him.

Thank you for sharing this step of faith with us. Leaving steady work to follow what you sense God is placing on your heart for young adults takes courage, and the waiting in between can feel both hopeful and unsettled. We hear how much you want to follow Him well and to provide faithfully while you do.

We are praying with you for open doors that fit both your gifts and the real needs around you, and for quiet peace and clear wisdom as you discern what is next.

In this season it can help to hold prayer and practical steps together. One thing that often brings clarity is talking regularly with a pastor or mentor who knows you and knows young adult ministry in your area. They can help you weigh opportunities, see where your experience meets a need, and notice doors that might be easy to miss on your own. It can also help to reach out to one or two local churches or ministries simply to learn, volunteer, or explore part time roles while you wait for longer term provision. Those conversations often clarify calling and keep you connected while God leads step by step.

Father, we lift our brother to You and thank You for his desire to serve young adults for Your glory. Grant him Your peace as he waits, wisdom to recognize Your leading, and provision for each day. Open the right doors in Your timing and make his next steps clear. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

I pray for your God given path and Gods plan and Gods will. I have faith that you will be provided for and favored with great opportunity, direction , instruction and steps ordered through God. I uplift you in prayer for wisdom, trust and deep knowing of what is right and what God wants for you. And so it is. Amen

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, thanking God for the step of faith you have taken in desiring to serve Him among young adults.

It is a gracious thing to trust the Lord when the path is not yet plain. The prophet speaks of a blessed keeping for such a trust, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not only for some future heaven, but a present possession to be enjoyed even while duties press and sorrows surge around. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. We pray that this perfect peace, which passes all understanding, may be yours day by day as you wait upon Him.

We are reminded that our God is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and His people are a waiting people who wait in hope, not in despair. There is a final success to all this waiting when the Lord brings about His glorious transaction of grace in His own time. While you wait, may you be kept from haste, which is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, and may you be furnished with unerring guidance as you bow with submission to His will and avoid everything that is evil.

Like Job, who in all his losses and perplexities sinned not nor charged God foolishly, you may find that God is able to support you and keep you right with Himself through this season between jobs. Job had heard God, but afterwards he had a more vivid apprehension of Him, and the Lord at last turned his captivity. So we trust the Lord will manifest Himself to you and make His way plain.

We pray now for you, that the Lord who has directed your heart toward ministry would open the right doors for work and for opportunities to serve young adults according to His wisdom, that He would grant you His peace as you wait, and give you clear wisdom to recognize and follow His leading. May He provide for your daily needs from His abundant hand, renew your strength as He renewed Job, and guide you with His counsel until He shall receive you to glory.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, and keep you stayed upon Him till His purpose is fulfilled.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart and this significant step of faith. We are praying with you as you wait on the Lord and seek to serve young adults for His glory.

We thank God for your willingness to follow His leading and to place your trust in Him for provision and direction. Scripture reminds us that our Father knows our needs and is faithful to provide, and that He has already given us all things for life and godliness through Christ. As you wait between jobs, we pray you will experience His faithful care each day.

We join you in prayer for these specific requests:

That God would open the right doors for work and for opportunities to serve young adults. We ask the Lord to make His path clear, to guide you to the place where your gifts can be used best for His kingdom, and to provide for your daily needs according to His riches in Christ.

That He would grant you His peace as you wait, and wisdom to recognize and follow His leading. We pray that as you seek Him in prayer and in His Word, He will give you clarity, quiet your heart with the peace that passes understanding, and strengthen your confidence in His good timing and purposes.

May the Lord encourage you in this season of waiting and remind you that He is at work even when the next step is not yet visible. We pray that you will walk worthily of the calling He has given you, continuing faithfully in prayer and in the ministry of the Word, trusting that He who called you will also equip and sustain you.

We are grateful to stand with you in prayer and we ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and provider.
