Trust

God, who else? Trusting God is the step that leads to all other healthy trusting. The trust of God comes from God Himself to you in a spirit of a good giving heart. Why do I say the trust of God comes from Him, isn't it earned like with everyone else? Well yes and no. Hebrews 11:6 "It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." John 12:32 "And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself."The trust of God comes from God Himself drawing you to Himself and your predestined action to accept that beckoning love from the Almighty Father." There seems to be a locked circle of logic with this. The trust of God comes from God, but God makes it necessary for us to do the things we're called to do John 14:12 "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father"; yet it is not us who do this good work, it is the Spirit God James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.", Himself in His mighty sovereignty. So there is relief in knowing God has all in His and and glory in sharing with His marvelous secret of the inner workings of faith and favor. So not us, but God gets the credit for every good deed. Then why do we get rewards for our services to God? Romans 2:6 "He will render to each one according to his works" Because we are apart of God's love. We share in the blessing as the inheritance of Yahweh Himself Psalm 137:3 Children are a gift from Yahweh; they are a reward from him." It is by God's grace, through our faith (God's and ours shared) that favor flows. Because favor from God is His love impartial to who it is but dependent on the supernatural laws that are set up by the Creator. All things are possible for them that believes. Mark 9:23 "Everything is possible for him who believes."
