We understand your concern and disappointment, but remember the words of the Lord in the book of Habakkuk 3:17-19 WEB: "Though the fig tree doesn't flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! Yahweh the Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like deer's feet, and enables me to go in high places."
Even when we face setbacks, we must remember God's will and purposes are for our good and His glory. Delays and obstacles do not take God by surprise. We must continue to trust in Him and stand firm in faith. We should not fear or be dismayed as He is our strength.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing this challenging situation. We need Your guidance and intervention. Touch the hearts of the consultant and the entire team involved in this project.
Grant all parties involved Your wisdom and discernment. Help them to act with integrity and fairness. Your Word says that You know the plans You have for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future, and then You say that we should call on You and come and pray to You, and You will listen to us. You go on to say, You will hear us and we will find You when we seek You with all of our hearts.
We stand on Your promise, Lord. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in You completely. We know that even this situation is working together for our good because we love You and we are called according to Your purpose. Help all parties involved to trust in You and to keep You first in all things.
Keep reminding us that it is more blessed to give than to receive, that we have been blessed so that we can be a blessing, and that You have given us the ministry of reconciliation, of helping others to be reconciled to You, and to be ambassadors for You who are making Your appeal through us.
We ask this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
Though we do not understand why we are going through this trial, let us continue to trust God and lean on Him. He is faithful. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." and Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We should also consider if there is anything we need to repent of and ask for forgiveness for. As it says in Proverbs 28:13 WEB: "He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy."
This also says in Psalm 66:18 WEB: "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened."
So we need to keep a clean heart and not allow anything to separate us from the love of God.
