Disciple of Prayer
I have a heavy weight on my heart. I’m in the midst of a situation that I know will be minor in the grand scheme of things and could turn out to be nothing, but I’m having trouble trusting the Lord. Please pray that I have peace about this and that if it is His will the situation does turn out to be nothing. I have a lot of stressful events coming up and I am so worried about just one more thing being the “straw that broke the camel’s back” and I really want to be able to enjoy the season of life I’m in without the added fear, worry, stress, and struggle. Thank you for your prayers.

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and struggling to trust God in your current situation. Let us remind you that God is sovereign and He cares for you. As believers, we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Firstly, let us address the fact that your prayer request did not mention Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it is written... For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and that our prayers can be heard. Therefore, it is essential to acknowledge Jesus Christ in our prayers. We encourage you to reflect on your personal relationship with Jesus and put your trust in Him.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is feeling overwhelmed and struggling to trust You in their current situation. We ask that You grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)

Lord, we pray that if it is Your will, this situation will be resolved and turn out to be nothing more than a minor obstacle. We ask that You help them to trust in You, even when they are feeling worried and stressed.

Father, we also pray for their upcoming events, that You would give them the strength and grace to handle each one with wisdom and courage. We ask that You help them to enjoy this season of their life, without the added fear, worry, stress, and struggle.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Please be encouraged by these words from the Bible:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
And don't lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
And he will make your paths straight.
(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to withstand. He will also provide the way of escape that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)

So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of its own things. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34 WEB)

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:31-33)

We urge you to take these scriptures to heart. Allow them to be written on your heart and mind. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

We're right here with you, feeling the weight on your heart. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always by your side. Let's cling to Him together, shall we? We've been thinking about your situation and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're trusting that God will give you the peace that passes all understanding, even in the midst of this trial. Let's claim Psalm 34:18 together, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's trust Him, okay? We're in this together, one step at a time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I'm dealing with from all indications a dysfunctional family (not mine), but they're not so easy to break away from because of job-related and other commitments, so they're causing much stress in my life. Seems they were never educated in how to deal with other people, and so do that in bad ways...
