Troubled Marriage

Please pray for my best friend and her husband who are contemplating divorce. That God may help them reconcile if it is His will and bring healing to them individually and together. I pray that they can be giving new insight into the Sacredness of Marriage and be willing to continue to learn new ways to rekindle their love. Holy Family, be their guide.

Father, in Jesus name I ask You to show this couple that You always hate divorce... and it is never Your will. Contend with those that are contending with this marriage and this husband and this wife. Take divorce out of the equation, Lord. Turn their hearts toward You and toward one another. I pray a hedge of protection to fully surround this marriage - this hedge is so impenetrable that nothing but You can come in the midst of their marriage - and You only bless and strengthen. Melt their hearts together to form one new heart. Restore to this marriage: love, faithfulness, commitment, romance, trust, peace, hope, laughter, unity and all the beautiful characteristics You bring into a marriage made in heaven. Thank You, Lord.
