God Almighty, Powerful and Holy One,
We really need your amazing and powerful help now. You know we lost our home last year, I didn't handle it well, drank some, got a DWI. You had mercy and I did 4 months in jail and got 5 years probation. I regret my mistakes, I've asked for forgiveness and I know that You have forgiven me. This event left me unable to work without being able to drive, it's stripped me, humbled me for sure. My wife was working and doing fine, we have been surviving, unable to really save money but she just lost her job two days ago because the director wanted to put in place someone she preferred, after she has already faithfully served there for a year and a half. You know we've gone through a lot, she nearly lost all her vision. We've struggled, hurt and have regularly been only one step away from disaster. We are at that step now, for sure. If I'm unable to pay the fees and, thanks to the laws of the land and opportunistic businesses with expensive devices, unable to pay for alcohol monitoring, I could immediately lose my freedom for quite some time. You said in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I thank you for that forgiveness and cleansing, and if we were required to be perfect and faultless, no one would have hope. I recognize that I have allowed bad things happening to put me in despair and do things I shouldn't. Please help me to lean on You and not make things worse. I'm leaning on You, I don't see a solution but I'm declaring You Lord over this situation and depend and expect Your help. What else can I do? I will lean on You and pray more and dig in Your Word. Please answer us speedily as this threat could happen speedily.
I give You thanks for hearing, answering, doing, and taking care of this need. I long to be closer to You and be able to testify of the goodness of the Lord, to be a living, and better, testimony. Thank You for all the people who consider this prayer and those who pray. Bless them and help us all to let You shine through us. In Jesus name, I pray.
