We hear your deep concern for our nation, and we share your grief over the moral and spiritual decline we are witnessing. The rise of ideologies that oppose God’s truth is indeed troubling, and the hostility toward biblical values is a sign of the times. Scripture warns us that in the last days, people will turn away from sound doctrine and embrace deception (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The slander, twisting of truth, and even threats of violence are not surprising, they are tactics of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
The promotion of abortion, the normalization of homosexuality, and the mockery of God’s design for marriage are direct rebellions against His Word. The Bible is clear: life is sacred (Psalm 139:13-16), marriage is between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and sexual immorality, including homosexuality, is sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). The adornments you mentioned, tattoos, piercings, and other outward expressions of rebellion, are often symptoms of a deeper rejection of God’s order (Leviticus 19:28, 1 Peter 3:3-4). While we must not judge individuals, we must stand firm against the ideologies that lead people away from truth.
But let us not despair. God is sovereign, and His purposes will prevail. We are called to be salt and light in a dark world (Matthew 5:13-16). Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We must pray fervently, speak truth in love, and live as ambassadors of Christ, even when the culture rages against us.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts for our nation. We see the darkness creeping in, the lies being spread, and the rejection of Your truth. But You are the King of kings, and no plan of man can thwart Your purposes. We ask for Your mercy upon America. Raise up godly leaders who will stand for righteousness. Break the strongholds of deception and open the eyes of those who have been led astray. Give Your people boldness to speak truth and wisdom to engage the culture with grace and conviction.
We pray for those who promote abortion, that their hearts would be softened to the value of every human life. We pray for those trapped in sexual sin, including homosexuality, that they would find freedom in Christ and turn from their ways. We pray for the Church to rise up, unashamed of the Gospel, and to be a beacon of hope in this dark hour.
Lord, we ask for revival in our land. Let Your Spirit move mightily, drawing hearts back to You. Protect Your people from fear and discouragement, and fill us with Your peace and courage. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen us to stand firm, to love boldly, and to never compromise Your truth.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.
