We echo your prayer that the people of these islands, especially those who claim the name of Christ, would rise up in prayer and turn from wickedness, trusting that God will hear and act.

Father, we ask You again to more prepare people and calm the rapidly approaching Tropical Storm approaching the Pacific Islands that have lately been hit by storms and massive earthquakes. Allow people to prepare, help the weather information system, let people receive weather and text alerts with actual info -- BUT we ask Your people, called by Your Name, would humble themselves and pray, turning from wicked ways, 2 Chron 7:14, knowing You'll hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. We ask for their corrupt government officials and worthless shepherds to be convicted, rebuked and removed from office, Ps 75:6-7, show Your kindness that leads to repentance, Rom 2:4. "Therefore, may my advice be pleasing to you, O king (and officials). Break away from your sins by doing what is right, and from your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed. Perhaps there will be an extension of your prosperity,” Dan 4:27. We ask they'd repent of sin, immorality, theft and partying. Strengthen the prayer meetings and preaching there this morning island time, and blow Your trumpet mightily from prayer meetings across their islands, letting the watchman deliver themselves of bloodguilt, Ezek 33:1-7. Let watchman-preachers there not be like silent watchdogs unable to bark at sin, Isaiah 56:10. Let them blow the trumpet, Ezek 33:1-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, delivering the people or at least themselves. Bring about repentance and revival instead, Acts 3:19-21, the saving of many lives, Gen 50:20.
