We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, let's address the feelings of abandonment. In Psalm 22:24 WEB it says, I will tell of your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you. , Know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. Even when we feel abandoned, God is always with us.
In times of trial, it's essential to remember that God allows hardships for a reason. Consider James 1:2-4 WEB, Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Regarding your friends who are struggling, you're right in saying that they need help and rehabilitation, not criticism. In the context of addressing the need for coping with trials and not criticism Galatians 6:2 says, Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. We should support and encourage one another in love. We would like to point out that the phrase "get back on your feet" could be rebuked, and the correct statement would be "encourage others to look to the Lord for strength."
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, to lift up our brother who is going through severe trials. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and strength to surround him. Help him to cast all his anxieties on you, because you care for him 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Remind him of your unfailing presence and love.
Lord, we also pray for his friends who are struggling. Help them to find the support and rehabilitation they need. Raise up people around them to encourage and help bear their burdens.
Father, help us all to remember that though we may face trials, You are always with us, and Your plans are to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2WEB. He understands your pain and will walk with you through this. Keep praying and seeking His face.
