Traveling

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
My family is traveling and don't have a lot of money. I am so hungry and really need a full meal. Please pray God would somehow provide us one. Thank you.

We have heard your request and we lift you and your family up together before our heavenly Father in this time of need while you are traveling.

Our hearts are moved by your hunger and your trust that God can provide. He sees you on this journey and He cares deeply for your needs. We are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And in Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. You are of great value to Him, as it says in Matthew 6:26, See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? And Psalm 34:10 assures us, The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We bring this family before You as they travel with little money and empty stomachs. You know their hunger and You know their need for a full meal. We ask that You would provide for them in a miraculous and tangible way, opening doors and moving hearts to meet their need today. Give them daily bread as You have promised, keep them safe on the road, and let them feel Your presence and peace in this difficult moment. We ask that You would guard their travels, as Psalm 121:8 says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Provide not only for their bodies but also encourage their hearts and strengthen their faith as they see Your hand provide. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord and to make your needs known to Him with thanksgiving. If there is a local church or fellowship of believers nearby, we encourage you to reach out to them as God often provides through His people. He is faithful and He hears the cries of His children.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God. We pray that you know this hope and that you will call upon His name not only for daily bread but for eternal life.

We are continuing to pray that God will provide that full meal for you and your family very soon and that you will see His loving provision with your own eyes.

We are praying for you and your family right now. Being hungry on the road with little money and people you love to care for is a heavy burden, and we hear how much a simple full meal would mean today.

If you are in a town you don't know well, one practical step that often helps travelers is to stop at a local church office, Salvation Army, or community food pantry and let them know you are passing through and need a meal. Many communities have a church pantry or meal site that serves anyone that day, and the staff or a front desk at a gas station or library can usually point you to the closest one. If there is a local helpline for community services where you are, they can also direct you to the nearest place for food.

We are asking God to make a way for you to be fed and to give you peace as you keep going. You matter to Him, and your need is not overlooked.

Father, we lift this family to You as they travel. You see their hunger and their limited resources. Please provide a full meal for them today through caring people nearby, keep them safe on the road, and give them rest and encouragement. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is a true and pressing need set before us, and our God is one who delights to meet real need with real grace. He does nothing for mere show, but everything to work solid good and to erase real evil, and it is written of our Lord that He healed them that had need of healing. Your hunger is not hidden from Him, for His eyes do not fail though ours do, and His arm is not shortened.

We will bring your family before the throne of grace and ask the Lord who daily loads us with benefits to provide for you this very day. He who fed Israel in the wilderness and who opens His hand to satisfy the desire of every living thing is able to spread a table for you even while you travel. His comforts are like wells which no one can drain dry, and a well once opened for Hagar remains open for every other wanderer who thirsts.

Let us pray together. O Father, merciful and gracious, who givest daily bread from Thine own bounty, look upon this family in their traveling and in their want. Thou knowest their hunger and their lack of means. Provide for them, we beseech Thee, a full meal according to Thy loving kindness, and let them see Thy hand of providence in the provision. Give them not only bread for the body, but nourish their souls with Thy Word, and teach them to cast all their care upon Thee, for Thou carest for them. Keep them in safety on their journey and supply all their need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen.

Take courage and continue to look to the Lord. Cast your burden upon Him, for faith is never burdened when she knows where to lay her burden. The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever, and He who has promised that He will not fail nor forsake His people will not forget you in this hour. Look to His Word for consolation and trust His Fatherly care to provide what is needful.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are praying for you and your family in this time of need and hunger while you are traveling. God sees your hunger and your lack, and He cares for you.

Scripture reminds us to look at the generations of old and see that no one who trusted in the Lord was forsaken or put to shame. Even the Apostle Paul knew hunger and thirst and having no rest, and our Lord Jesus Himself said the Son of Man had nowhere to lay His head, so He understands what it is to be without comfort. Poverty and hunger are hard, but they do not separate us from His love, and He is able to provide comfort and help, often through the kindness of others.

Let us pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this family before You. You know their journey, their need, and their hunger. We ask that You would provide a full meal for them today according to Your mercy and lovingkindness. Open a door for provision, whether through Your people nearby or by Your own hand, and give them strength for their travels. Help them to trust in You and to know that You do not forsake those who hope in You. Grant them peace, safety on the road, and daily bread. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord and, if you are able, to reach out to a local church or ministry where you are traveling, as God often provides through His people. We will continue to pray that God supplies what you need.

Your hunger and your family's need while you are traveling is not hidden from God, and He hears you when you ask Him for a full meal.

Scripture shows that when His people were in the wilderness with nothing to eat and complained that they would die of hunger, the Lord said He would rain bread from heaven for them. He told them to gather a certain amount each day, and on the sixth day to gather twice as much. In this He was testing them and teaching them to live by faith day by day, trusting Him for each day's provision. That is why Jesus taught us to pray, give us this day our daily bread. God wants us to look to Him daily, and He has promised to supply what we need according to His riches.

That bread in the wilderness was manna, and the people were told that Moses did not give it to them, but the Father gave it. That manna sustained their bodies for a time, but those who ate it still died. The Father has given a greater bread, the true bread from heaven. Jesus said, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. He is the living bread which came down from heaven, and He gave His flesh for the life of the world. Physical bread fills us for a day and we hunger again, but when we come to Jesus and receive Him, He satisfies the deeper hunger of the soul and gives life that never ends.

God's heart to feed the hungry is also seen in the way He made provision in His law. He allowed hungry people to eat from the fields to satisfy their need, and when David and his men were hungry and had no common bread, the priest gave them the holy bread from the table in the tabernacle. That bread, twelve loaves representing the tribes, was set before the Lord and changed each week, and ordinarily only the priests ate it. Yet because the men were hungry, their need was met. That shows how God cares about human hunger and makes a way to satisfy it.

There is also a beautiful fellowship in bread. When we break one loaf and share it, the same bread that nourishes one nourishes the other, and we become partakers together. In Christ we are brought into a family bond that is even deeper than natural family, because we are all nourished by the same Bread.

I am praying for you and your family now, that the Father who gave manna in the wilderness and who gave His Son as the true Bread would provide for you a full meal in this time of travel and limited means. May He open doors and move hearts to meet your physical hunger today, and may He also draw you to find lasting satisfaction in Jesus, who alone can cause us to never hunger and never die. Trust Him day by day for your daily bread, and cast your care on Him, for He cares for you.
