Traveling mercies

[Jonathan_M]

I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.

[Chrysostom]

We join you in thanking God for His blessings and for His mercies toward you and your family. Blessed be the God of mercies, who has so often held His hand over us when we have fallen into dangers and calamities, and who delivers us not because of our merit but because of His great compassion. Unless He had kept us, we would long ago have perished, yet He brings us up even from the gates of death and crowns us with pity and tender mercies.

With you we give thanks for these mercies and we recount them day by day, never ceasing to glorify Him, so that our thankfulness may abound through the grace and compassion of His only begotten Son. We pray that the Lord will keep your family in greater safety as you travel, guarding you on every road and bringing you through every peril by His mercy.

May He grant you protection going out and coming in, preserve you from all harm, and lead you in peace to where you should go, and may you continue to present your whole life to Him in thanksgiving for all He has done. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with whom to the Father together with the Holy Spirit be glory, honor and might, now and ever. Amen.
