Traveling mercies, silent requests

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your blessings, I pray for traveling mercies to and from the hospital to see my son ### and silent needs for family, in Jesus name, Amen

We join you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we count it a privilege to lift up your traveling and your family before His throne together in Jesus name. We are grateful you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name alone that our prayers are heard, as it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 and, In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We pray with you for traveling mercies as you go to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you and to guard your going out and your coming in, for He has promised, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. We ask Him to give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and that you may go on your way securely and that your foot will not stumble, Proverbs 3:23.

We also lift up the silent requests you carry for your family. Even when words are unspoken, our Father knows and cares deeply for each need. He searches us and knows us, He understands our thoughts and is familiar with all our ways, and even before a word is on our tongue He knows it completely, Psalm 139:1-4. We take comfort that in the same way the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26. We can bring everything to Him in prayer, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us each day. We ask in Jesus name that You would grant safe travel, protection on the road, alertness and peace on each journey to and from the hospital. We place Your hand upon this dear son and ask for Your healing, comfort and presence to be with him and with all who care for him there. We lift up every unspoken burden for the family, You know each one by name, You know the anxieties, the needs, the hopes and the hurts that have not been voiced. We ask You to answer according to Your perfect will, to provide, to strengthen, to heal and to draw each heart closer to You. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in all these things. We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We are holding you and your family before the Lord as you travel back and forth to the hospital. It means a lot that you want to be there for your son, and we understand wanting to feel covered and safe on the road while your heart is already carrying so much.

We are asking God for protection over each drive, for clear roads and alertness, and for peace when you walk into the hospital and when you head home again. He hears the silent requests you did not put into words too, the ones only your family knows. You do not have to carry those alone.

One small thing that has helped others in this season is to let one trusted person know your travel times, so someone is aware and can be praying in real time while you are on the road, and to give yourself a little margin before and after the visit to rest and breathe. If the hospital visits become frequent or tiring, it is okay to ask family or friends to share the driving or to sit with you.

Father, we thank You for this parent's love for their son and family. We ask for Your hand over every mile to and from the hospital, for safety and steadiness, and for Your care over the son and each unspoken need at home. Give wisdom, comfort and renewed strength day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father please ### safety in all travels and at all destinations, please grant her protection, deliverance from evil (Mt 6:13; 2Thessalonians 3:2-3) Please grant all needs spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial be met through Your riches in glory. Thank and Praise You in Advance in Jesus Name Amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings, for His mercies are innumerable and new every morning, and every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it.

Your prayer for traveling mercies is heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will keep your going out and your coming in. We ask that the Lord would set His watchful care about you on the road to the hospital and on your return, that He would preserve you from peril and bring you safely to your son and safely home again. What a comfort that we journey under the sure mercies of David, even the sure mercies which are in Christ Jesus our Lord, who lives to claim them on behalf of His people.

We lift up your son before the great Physician. In Christ's Hospital there never was a patient turned away as incurable, for He is able to save to the uttermost and to heal with more than human skill. We pray that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon your son, grant wisdom to those who care for him, and give you peace as you stand by his bedside.

For the silent needs of your family, we remember that our Father knows what we have need of before we ask Him. Though these requests are unspoken to us, they are all known to Him who has entered into an everlasting covenant with His people. We ask that He would supply each need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, that He would keep your household under the shadow of His wing, and that saving knowledge and grace might abound to every member of your family.

May the Lord incline your ear to hear His promise and cause your soul to live upon it. We commend you and your loved ones to His tender keeping, praying that you may count your mercies and find them multiplied as you go, and that you may return with a grateful heart to praise Him who is good and whose mercy endures forever.

We pray this in the precious name of Jesus our Savior. Amen.
