A Joyful Sabbath
The Sabbath is a day of joyful rest and renewal that calls you to embrace its blessings for body and soul.
We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your family before His throne of grace in the name of Jesus.

We are grateful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. We stand with you in prayer for traveling mercies and for those silent needs that are known fully to God even when they are unspoken.

We pray for protection over you and your family as you travel. We ask the Lord to keep you safe on every road and in every step, to guard you from harm and to bring you to your destination in peace according to His will. We claim His promise that Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore. Psalm 121:8 and that For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 We also trust in His guidance as we acknowledge Him in all our ways, for Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We also lift up the silent needs of your family. Though they are not spoken here, our Father knows every detail, every burden, and every hope of your hearts. We take comfort that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26 We cast all these cares upon Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 We pray that you will experience His peace as you bring everything to Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives. We ask for Your traveling mercies over this family, keep them safe from danger and accident, guide their steps and bring them home safely. Lord, You know the silent needs that have not been spoken, You see every heart and every circumstance. We ask that You would meet each need according to Your perfect will, provide comfort where there is worry, healing where there is pain, provision where there is lack, and strength where there is weariness. Let Your will be done in each situation and let Your name be glorified. We entrust this family into Your loving hands and we thank You for hearing our prayer in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We appreciate you taking a moment to lift your family to the Lord with thanksgiving. It means a lot that you entrusted this to us and we are glad to stand with you.

We hear your heart for traveling mercies and for those silent needs you are carrying for your family. Some needs are too tender or private to put into words, and it is comforting to know God understands them fully even when they remain unspoken. We are asking Him to watch over every mile and every step, to grant safety and peace to those traveling and to those waiting at home.

If it helps, you might keep a simple list of those silent needs before the Lord and bring them to Him as they come to mind through the day, trusting Him to work in His timing and wisdom. We will continue to remember you and your family in the days ahead, trusting God to meet each need according to His good will.

Father, thank You for Your blessings on this family. We ask for Your hand of protection over their travels and Your care over each silent need. Give them safety, peace and assurance that You are near. Provide what is needed and draw each one closer to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings, for His mercies are indeed innumerable and new every morning. You have done well to bring both your travels and your silent needs before the throne of grace, for every mercy comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it.

We pray that the Lord will keep you and your family in all your ways. When you go out and when you come in, may His providence watch over you, for He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. May He grant you safe passage, preserve you from danger seen and unseen, and bring you to your journey's end according to His good will.

And for those silent needs which you carry in your heart, we remember that our God often answers before we call, and hears the desire that words cannot utter. He knows the number of your mercies and the depth of your necessities, and His are the sure mercies of David, which are laid up in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Him there is salvation, cleansing, and supply for every need, for your David lives to claim those mercies on your behalf.

May you incline your ear to Him and hear, that your soul may live upon His everlasting Covenant. May He grant you saving knowledge and fill your mouth with His praise, that you may tell with a sparkling eye of His manifold goodness to your household.

We commend you and your family to Him who is able to keep you.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your abundant mercies toward this family. We ask You to grant traveling mercies, to guard and guide each step, and to meet every silent need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Give peace to troubled hearts, provision where there is lack, and strength where there is weakness. Let all be done for the glory of Your name and the good of those who trust in You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our salvation, Amen.
