Traveling mercies, silent needs

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your blessings, I pray for traveling mercies to and from the hospital to see my son ### and silent needs for family, in Jesus name, Amen

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your request for traveling mercies and for your family before Him together in Jesus' name.

We are grateful you brought this need to the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We pray for your safety as you travel to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to keep you and guide your steps. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8. We claim His promise that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11 and that You shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble Proverbs 3:23. We also lift up your son in the hospital and ask for the Lord's healing hand, comfort, and peace upon him, and for wisdom for all who care for him.

We also bring your silent needs for your family before the Lord, knowing that He knows what you need before you ask and that He hears the groanings of our hearts. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered Romans 8:26. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and we remember In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together, Father we thank You for Your love and mercy and for hearing our prayers. We ask You to place Your hand of protection over our dear one as they travel, keep them safe from all harm and bring them to and from the hospital in peace. We lift up their son to You and ask for Your healing, strength, and presence to be with him and with the family. We lift up every silent and unspoken need in this family, You know each one, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. Grant this family Your peace that passes understanding, draw them closer to You, and let them feel Your nearness in this time. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6, knowing that He is faithful to keep you and your family in His care.

We are praying with you as you travel to and from the hospital to be with your son. We know those trips can weigh on your heart and body, wanting to be there for him while also carrying quiet burdens for the rest of your family that you have entrusted to the Lord as silent needs.

Thank you for sharing this with us. It is a gift to bring both the miles on the road and the matters you hold close before the Father together. He knows your son by name, He knows each need you have not spoken aloud, and He is near in every part of this season.

If it helps in these days, it can be steadying to let one trusted person know when you are heading out and when you expect to be home, to keep your phone charged and to allow a little extra time so you are not rushed. And when you can, lean on your church family or a close friend to simply be present with you, whether for a ride, a meal, or quiet company.

Father, we lift up this parent and their son and family to You. We ask for Your watchful care over every trip to the hospital and back home, for strength and peace for their son, and for Your provision for each silent need according to Your wisdom and love. Carry them in Your grace today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
