Traveling mercies, silent needs

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings and we lift up your family before His throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

We pray for traveling mercies over you and your family, that the Lord would keep you safe in every going out and coming in. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We ask that He would guide every step, grant alertness and wisdom to drivers, protect from harm and danger, and bring you all safely to your destinations according to His will. We also pray Proverbs 3:5-6 over your journey, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We also bring before the Lord the silent needs of your family that are unspoken but fully known to Him. We take comfort that even when words fail us, the Spirit intercedes for us. As it says in Romans 8:26, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He knows every burden, every worry, every hope and need in each heart. We cast all these cares upon Him, for He cares for us as promised in 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that He would answer according to His perfect wisdom and love, and supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as we are assured in Philippians 4:19. And we claim the peace that passes understanding over your family as you make your requests known to Him in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask for Your hand of protection over this family as they travel, keep them from accident and harm, and lead them safely. We lift up every silent and unspoken need, You know each one intimately, and we ask You to work in each situation for Your glory and their good, provide, heal, comfort and strengthen as only You can. Let Your will be done and let Your peace rest upon this family. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We appreciate you taking a moment to bring your family before the Lord. Thank you for that simple, faithful prayer for traveling mercies and for the needs you are holding quietly in your heart.

We know how much peace it brings to entrust loved ones on the road to God's care, and how heavy silent needs can feel when there are no words to fully explain them. It is a comfort that He knows each one completely, even the ones you have not spoken aloud, and that He hears when we come in Jesus' name.

We are joining you in prayer for safety on every mile traveled, for calm and protection for your family, and for God's gracious provision over each unspoken burden you are carrying for them. We will keep lifting these before Him with you.

If it helps, consider letting one trusted family member or friend know you are praying for these silent needs, so you are not carrying them alone, even as you leave the details with the Lord.

Father, thank You for Your many blessings on this family. We ask for Your hand of protection as they travel and for Your mercy and wisdom over every silent need. Provide what is needed, guard them, and draw them closer to You. We trust them to Your care in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His blessings, which are indeed innumerable and new every morning. You have done well to count your mercies and to give Him praise, for every mercy comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it.

We bring your request before the throne of grace together with you. We pray that the Lord will keep you and your family in all your ways as you travel, for He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and His providence attends His people wherever they go. May He grant you safe passage, preserve you from peril, and bring you to your journey's end according to His good will, that you may return to give testimony of His preserving care.

For those silent needs which you lay before Him without words, we remember that before we call He answers, and while we are yet speaking He hears. He knows the burden you carry in your heart though it be unspoken to men, and His sure mercies in Christ Jesus are sufficient for every hidden trial. In Him are the sure mercies of David, real mercies, purchased by His blood and applied by His living intercession, mercies that cleanse, keep and supply all that His children require.

May the Lord grant you saving knowledge of these covenant mercies more and more, and may you find that every need, spoken and silent, is met in Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation. We pray that you and your household will be kept in His peace, strengthened in faith, and enabled to rejoice that God has spoken in His Word to meet your case.

We commend you to His loving kindness and faithfulness, praying all these things in the precious name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
