We come before the throne of grace with thanksgiving in our hearts, lifting up this travel excursion to the Lord. We declare that the precious blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of sins and for our protection, covers every aspect of this journey. The blood of Jesus is powerful and effective, providing divine protection, favor, and blessing.

Father God, we plead the blood of Jesus over every tourist in this travel group, their safety, health, and well-being. We ask that You would go before them, behind them, beside them, and within them, shielding them from all harm and danger. Cover the colleagues working diligently to make this trip a success, granting them wisdom, strength, and joy in their service. We plead the blood of Jesus over the bus, its driver, and all modes of transportation involved, that they would be protected from accidents and mechanical failures.

Lord, we ask that You would control the weather, providing safe and favorable conditions throughout the journey. We plead the blood of Jesus over the hotels, ensuring that they are secure, clean, and comfortable for all guests. We pray for the food and water, that they would be safe, wholesome, and nourishing, free from contamination or illness.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would bless this excursion with satisfied customers who experience Your peace, joy, and love throughout their travels. Grant them wonderful memories and a desire to share the goodness of this trip with others, resulting in excellent comments and testimonials for the company. May this journey bring glory and honor to Your name, and may many come to know You through the witness of those involved.

We rebuke any plans of the enemy to disrupt, harm, or bring dissatisfaction to this trip. We declare that no weapon formed against this excursion shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).

As the departure draws near, maybe take one quiet moment each morning with whatever colleague is nearby (even if it’s just before everyone loads the bus) and silently entrust that day’s route, the people you’ll meet, and your own spirit into His hands. A covering you seek, and so you should, for the soul needs covering, as a naked body would be both uncomfortable, unseemly, and dangerous; much more would the naked soul be unhappy, noxious to the eye of God, and utterly miserable in itself. But behold, it is the garment that is without seam, woven from the top throughout; a garment woven by the bleeding hands of Jesus, and then dyed in his own blood. You call down that blood upon bus and weather and hotel and food. Yet mark this well: God does not say, “When I see your estimate of the blood of Christ, I will pass over you;” no, but “when I see the blood.” It is not your estimate of that blood, it is the blood that saves you. That magnificent, solitary blood, must be alone.

You ask protection for your company, that only satisfied customers and good comments come. But know this: there is a more solemn business. People like to be sure about purchasing their estates, to know the title is good and indefeasible. How much more must you be sure of your own title, that your soul is washed in the blood of the Lamb, delivered from every sin as to any possibility of its being laid to your charge! Can you hopefully say, “Lord God, You see no sin in me, for You have covered me with the righteousness of Christ and washed me in His blood”? It is rapture!

You call on the name of Jesus Christ upon this excursion, and that is well. But what better fountain of cleansing can you desire than the precious blood of Christ? Seek not only temporal satisfaction, perfect satisfaction for weary souls is yours, for look, you weary one: God the Father is yours, God the Son is yours, to be your Husband, your Head! Are you sorrowing about past sin? The blood of Jesus speaks better things to God than the blood of Abel. Abel’s blood cried for vengeance; this blood cries, “Mercy, free, boundless mercy!” Do you glory in His blood and righteousness? Then seek after that which is pure and holy. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

Our safety lies in our Savior, “God our Savior.” He is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. That is the safety of body and soul. The prayer for covering upon a journey is but a shadow; here is the substance: the Blood of Jesus Christ, that blood of sprinkling which does not terrify but cleanses. It is a grand thing to feel that God’s throne might sooner fail than that a saint can perish. Do not hope that the blood will wash away sin; know it is so, that blood does cleanse. Once they were sinners washed in blood, and so they shall come, through the precious blood, to see Jesus face to face! Oh, how I wish that all of us knew this blessedness! Seek it; it is to be found. You are the purchase of His blood, and as surely as the Father loves Him, so does He still love you.

You do well to call upon the Name of Jesus Christ for your travel, for the Apostle bids us, "Do all in the Name of the Lord, and all shall be prospered to thee." Whether you eat or drink or launch into business, set His Name in front, praying to Him first, and then take hold of the work. Where the Name of God is placed, there all is auspicious. Yet let this calling be with a sober and wakeful spirit, not a mere incantation but a living faith.

You ask for covering with the Blood of Jesus Christ over tourists and bus and weather and food. Remember that the blood speaks: the blood of Abel cried out from the ground, demanding justice for a murdered righteous man. But the Blood of Christ speaks better things. It does not cry for vengeance but for cleansing and remission. It is the blood of sprinkling that purifies, a sacrifice offered in blood once for all. Yet this is not a talisman to guarantee the outcome you list, satisfied customers and good comments, as if the Blood were a tool for an easy business. The ancient sacrifice was not consumed by fire but distinguished by blood, and Christ’s Cross is that sacrifice. If you would have the protection of this Blood, travel along the narrow way, with both confidence and fear: confident because Jesus is your guide, fearful because of the precipices on either side. For though but for a little while one slumbers in earthly cares, he is swept away quickly.

You place before you a wall of protection, seeking to cover all external things. Yet there is a wall not to be broken: instill the fear of God into your own heart first, and let all who travel with you see your faith in action, giving thanks to God before and after every step. For if the names of consuls make writings sure, much more the Name of Christ secures our journey. Do not merely ask for outward shelter, but pray in sincerity, that wherever His Name is called upon, all may be auspicious. His protection is like a hen gathering her chickens under her wings, ever warm in love, but we must not scatter ourselves by vain trust in formulas. Call on Him, not to demand satisfied customers as the first fruit, but to seek His will in your business, sober and wakeful, so that whether customers praise or the road proves rough, you remain in His care. Then indeed, nothing unclean will cling to you.

What a comfort it is to know that we can bring every detail of our lives before the Lord, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name. The blood of Christ is not a distant religious symbol; it is the very reality by which we draw near to God. All through Scripture, we see that the life is in the blood, and that it is blood that makes atonement for the soul. Under the old covenant, the blood of sacrifices covered sin for a time, but those repeated offerings were always pointing forward to something far greater. What bulls and goats could never do, Jesus accomplished once and for all when He entered the heavenly sanctuary with His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption for us.

That same blood marks a covering, but it is more than a protective barrier over a bus or a hotel. Think of the Passover in Egypt. A lamb was slain, and its blood was placed on the doorposts. The Lord said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” The only place of safety that night was inside the house where the blood had been applied. No amount of sincerity outside those doors could shield a family. The blood was the token, but staying under its shelter was essential. Jesus told His people, “Abide in me.” Our true covering is not a formula we speak over circumstances; it is a Person. When we abide in Christ, we are kept. His blood does not merely hover over outward conditions; it cleanses the conscience, washes away sin, and brings us into a living covenant with God.

So by all means, cry out for His care over this excursion. Ask Him to watch over every tourist, your colleagues, the journey, the food, the weather. Nothing is too small for His notice. But let your confidence rest on this: the blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel has already secured the one thing needful. If the Lord allows smooth travels and grateful customers, give Him thanks. If challenges arise, remember that your hope and their safety in the deepest sense are not tied to ideal conditions. The disciples in the boat with Jesus faced a storm, yet He was with them, and that made all the difference.

The desire for good comments and satisfied clients is understandable, but the blood of Christ was not poured out to guarantee business success. It was poured out to bring rebels back to God, to create a people zealous for good works. Let your agency be marked by honesty, kindness, and service that reflects Jesus, and leave the outcomes to Him. Any covering we claim must be received by faith and walked out in obedience. If we step outside the shelter of His will, even the most earnest words cannot shield us. Yet for those who trust in the Son, there is a security no disaster can undo. He has already carried our sins, and His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. The life is in the blood, and the life He gives is eternal.

Pray for this trip, but above all, pray that each person involved would find their true refuge in Christ alone. Wherever the road leads, the Lamb who was slain is worthy, and those who have washed their robes in His blood will stand before the throne at last. That is the covering that can never be stripped away.
