Let us pray that God will protect my travel (going and returning) from all accidents and problems, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me wisdom, grace and blessing at my meeting with my business partner. Let us pray that God will put kindness in the heart of my business partner. Let us pray that Heavenly Father will give me wisdom and guidance, which products and in what quantities to buy. Let us pray that God will give me good success and show mercy to the business He has given me for my livelihood, in the Name of Jesus Christ! The prayer of the righteous avails much. It is well that you have brought this matter before the Lord, for our steps are not in our own keeping. He who gave you this business is the same who will be your shield upon the road. Lean not upon the arm of flesh, but cast yourself wholly upon Him who says, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go."
Remember that wisdom is the principal thing, and it is found not in anxious reckoning but in bowing with submission to the will of God. That very submission furnishes unerring guidance. Haste is the author of much mischief; wait upon the Lord, and avoid everything that is evil. Let no custom of the trade lure you from the straight path, for holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom, just as sin is to insanity. If this business is truly the work God has given you, then make it your Father's business. Do it with all your might, yet ever with an eye to His glory, not merely to the gathering of gain. The muckrake gathers, and then the fork scatters; a man may succeed in amassing wealth and yet it be a poor success. Far better to rise and eat no bread because the soul is sustained by the divine manna of doing the Lord's will with a glad heart.

You ask for prayers concerning your business travel, but I would have you reflect: for what purpose do you journey? The Magi from the East undertook a long and dangerous pilgrimage not to buy and sell, but to worship Christ. Yet many of us find it too great a labor even to cross the street to behold the Lord in His spiritual manger, while we eagerly run to the theater or worldly affairs. If your journey is truly to do the will of God, then first examine your heart. Is this travel for gain, or is it a pilgrimage of faith?
You invoke the Name of Jesus Christ for protection and blessing on your going out and coming in. Yet the Apostle teaches that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. Those former carnal blessings, as upon Israel, were shadows pointing to the imperishable wealth of the kingdom. Since Christ has made us immortal, making us sons and fellow-heirs, why do you cling so anxiously to the success of a single business meeting? The Father who gave His Son will not deny you daily bread, but He often grants tribulation to train you for the world to come.
Consider Jacob: his days were few and evil, filled with servitude, plots, and fears, while his brother Esau enjoyed security and plenty. Where then did the blessing rest? Not in earthly comfort, but in the inheritance to come. The fruit of your labor is not from your own skill or your partner’s kindness; it is God who gives the increase. He may soften your partner’s heart, or He may permit obstacles to teach you humility, for nothing is so acceptable to Him as a contrite spirit that numbers itself among the last.
Let us pray then, but not merely for smooth roads and profitable quantities. Pray instead that in this meeting you might display the wisdom that is from above, which is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy. Seek not only to fill your warehouse, but to gain your partner’s soul for Christ. Walk the narrow way with sober fear, for a moment’s slumber in greed or anxiety can sweep you away. If you truly desire to do all the will of God, then receive whatever outcome He appoints as a blessing, whether gain or loss, safety or hardship. For the rulers of this age and the business they govern are but passing ministers; your true citizenship is in heaven.
May the Lord grant you wisdom, not the craft of trade, but the humility that bruises the heart and drives out vainglory. And may your travel be a figure of that greater journey toward the city whose builder is God, where Christ our Guide awaits. We will pray for you, but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all else will be added in His mercy.

The world may say you have to cut corners, but God’s wisdom will preserve you and bring you a success that doesn’t come with sorrow.
