We hear your request for prayer regarding a job transfer to North India, and we join with you in lifting this matter before the Lord. It is good that you have come before God in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this job transfer. Lord, You know the desires of ’s heart, and we ask that You would open the right doors if this move aligns with Your will. If it is Your plan for to serve and work in North India, we pray that You would make the way clear, remove any obstacles, and grant favor with those in authority. Let Your peace and wisdom guide every decision, and may this transition bring glory to Your name.
We also pray for ’s faith to remain strong, whether the answer comes quickly or requires patience. Help to trust in Your timing, knowing that "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10 WEB). If this transfer is not part of Your perfect will, we ask that You would close the door gently and redirect ’s steps toward what You have prepared.

The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. Your desire for a transfer is laid before the throne, but let us not forget the weightier matter of interceding for others while we wait. Job, in his own ashes, prayed for those who had spoken harshly against him, and it was then that God restored his fortunes. Seek the good of those around you even now, and trust that the hand which appoints our bounds also times our changes.
You pray in Jesus’ name, and that is well, for there is no other name given under heaven. Yet remember that Job, when all was stripped from him, worshipped and did not charge God foolishly. If He should delay this move, or order it in a way you did not expect, sin not by thinking the promise has failed. His bow was renewed in his hand; his latter end was greater than the beginning. Faith clings to the slaying God and says, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.
Should it be according to your mind that the transfer comes at once? God may have ends in this waiting that you cannot see. Job knew that God would bring him to the house appointed for all living, and so he learned to yield his own timing. Let your hope be fixed not on a northern city but on the One who will anoint you with fresh oil in His season. I have taken your request to the Lord. Yet I must ask: what is truly urgent? You seek a transfer to a northern region, but consider where your true citizenship lies. Your life is hidden with Christ in God; you are dead to the world, seated above. Why, then, be so troubled by an earthly relocation? God often delays what we ask, not from neglect, but to kindle a more earnest faith. Remember the Canaanite woman, whose urgent plea met with silence and then sharp words, yet she pressed on and obtained mercy. So too the disciples were brought to a desperate need before the loaves were multiplied. The waiting is not empty; it trains the soul.
Think also of Job, stripped of children, possessions, and health. He did not charge God with wrong, but blessed His name. His wife urged him to despair, yet he stood firm. The enemy shoots arrows of impatience and discontent into your heart, hoping you will fall into grumbling. But if you refuse to be hit, the dart returns and wounds him instead. Stand fast, and he is defeated.
I see too the desire to uproot the present difficulty quickly, much like the servants who wished to pull up the tares among the wheat. But the Master forbade it, lest the good grain be harmed. There may be work God is doing in your soul right now, in this very place, which a hasty move would cut short. Do not let the longing for change make you lose sight of what He is cultivating in you.
Pray, then, not only for a transfer, but for a heart that rests in His will, whether in north or south. I will join my prayers to yours, asking that His good purpose be accomplished, and that you find strength to endure with thanksgiving until that day when Christ, who is your life, shall appear.
