We hear your desire to grow stronger, both physically and in your life’s pursuits, and we lift this before the Lord with sincerity. First, we want to acknowledge the importance of seeking God’s will in all things, including how we care for our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While it is good to pursue discipline and health, we must ensure that our methods and motivations align with Scripture and glorify God.

We notice your mention of supplements and methods to increase strength, and we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether these are necessary or if they could become a distraction from trusting in the Lord’s provision. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy 4:8, "For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come." Our focus should always be on growing in godliness, which has eternal value, rather than solely on physical strength.

Regarding your desire to move overseas and fulfill other desires, we want to gently remind you that our ultimate fulfillment comes from Christ alone. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." When we seek Him first, He aligns our desires with His will. We encourage you to seek God’s guidance in these plans, asking Him to reveal His purpose for you and to provide in His timing and way.

We also want to address the mention of money as a means to fulfill desires. While it is not wrong to seek financial provision, we must guard our hearts against making money an idol or trusting in it more than we trust in God. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." Let us seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will provide for our needs.

Now, let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother/sister who seeks strength, provision, and direction. Lord, we ask that You would be the foundation of their life, the source of their strength, and the provider of all their needs. Help them to seek You first in all things, aligning their desires with Your will. Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment as they consider their physical health, asking that You would guide them in caring for their body as Your temple. Protect them from any methods or pursuits that do not honor You.

Lord, we ask for Your provision as they seek to move overseas or fulfill other desires. Open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that are not part of Your plan. Provide for them in ways that only You can, so that they may see Your hand at work and give You all the glory. Father, we also pray that You would guard their heart against idolatry, whether it be money, physical strength, or personal desires. Help them to trust in You alone, knowing that true fulfillment is found in Christ.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or impatience in this situation, declaring that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they will not lean on their own understanding but will acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we pray for a deeper relationship with You, that they would grow in godliness and be content in whatever circumstances they find themselves, knowing that Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they find their joy and strength in You alone. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, seeking His face above all else. Let your pursuit of strength, provision, and desires be rooted in a heart that seeks to honor Him. Trust in His timing and His ways, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is waiting with open arms.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
