You speak of training your body six nights each week, and you seek health and uprightness of posture. This zeal for the discipline of the flesh is not without profit, for as a pugilist who keeps his body in subjection and is in good training is admired, so you too would shine forth when the hour of trial comes. But I urge you to consider: if we so labor for a crown that perishes, how much more should we train the soul, where no bodily strength nor wealth is required, but only the will? To forgive a trespass, to endure an insult, to give alms from a humble heart, these are the exercises that build for us an eternal habitation in the heavens, where no death or enmity can enter, and where the hands of the poor raise up mansions that never decay.

You also ask for funds to discharge your debts and to move again across the sea to dwell. Reflect then on the debt you yourself owe to the Lord, a sum of ten thousand talents, which He in His mercy has freely forgiven you. If He is so patient with you, taking you not by the throat nor choking you for immediate payment, how can you be anxious about money owed or a place to settle? Seek first to forgive everyone their trespasses against you, and you will be imitating God, and He will supply what you need. Pour out your wealth, if not in gold, then in mercy, and you will find that the only lasting home is that which Christ has prepared for those who look for Him.

Let your training, then, be moderate and not at hours that steal from rest and prayer. The body is a servant, not a master. Use it, but do not let its demands quench the spirit. Trust that your true and permanent dwelling is not in any earthly country, but in the city of God, where the voice of gladness is heard and the tabernacles of the righteous stand forever.

Physical training holds real value, and I can sense the weight you are carrying over your health, posture, debts, and the longing to move overseas. Yet I also want to gently press in on the intensity you describe. Six nights a week at ten o'clock sounds less like the freedom of caring for the body God gave you and more like a relentless taskmaster. Our bodies are earthen vessels, formed from dust, and they groan under the curse of weakness. We long for deliverance from these tents, and in Christ we have the promise of an eternal dwelling not made with hands. That does not mean we neglect the body, but it does reframe how tightly we grip its perfecting. I have seen people who dedicate every hour to dietary rigor and punishing regimens, and they often look gaunt and worn rather than truly well. Real health flows from a heart that rests in God, not from a schedule that leaves no room for stillness.

The enemy loves to whisper that God is holding out on us, that we must take matters into our own hands to get what we need. Remember how he tempted Jesus in the wilderness: turn these stones into bread, use your power to meet a legitimate hunger. Jesus refused to move outside the Father's will in order to serve a physical need. Your need for health and provision is real, but the how matters deeply. Pushing your body six nights a week late at night may be a stone you are trying to turn into bread. It will exhaust you more than it restores you. Ask the Lord for wisdom to steward your body in a rhythm that actually strengthens, one that trusts Him for the outcomes rather than throwing you into a prison of obligation.

The desire to move overseas rattles with echoes of Abraham. God told him to get out of his country, away from his father’s house, to a land He would show him. That was a call to leave security behind, and Abraham went not knowing where he was going. If the Lord is truly stirring your spirit to relocate permanently, then He will also be the One who provides the funds and clears the debts. He does not call us to a place and then leave us to manufacture the resources through panic. Resisting the impulse to scheme your way out of debt is itself an act of faith. Bring the need before the Father, lay out the numbers honestly, and then watch for His supply, often through unforced open doors.

But I would also ask you to prayerfully examine whether this move is an echo of God’s voice or a flight from present discomfort. Sometimes we imagine that a new geography will fix what only a new heart posture can heal. Abraham’s move was not merely about real estate; it was about becoming the father of a people through whom blessing would come to the world. The physical relocation was secondary to the spiritual covenant. If God is leading you overseas, He has kingdom purposes in it, not just a change of scenery. Wait on Him until the call is clear, and then obey, even if the bank account looks small.

Your body matters. Your posture matters. Your financial freedom matters. But each of these finds its place under the larger reality that you are a citizen of heaven, passing through this age in a fragile tent. We groan in this body, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, and that longing can fuel either frustration or hope. Let it fuel hope. Train, yes, but in a way that honors the limits your Creator wove into you. Trust Him for the move, and let Him set the timing and the provision. As you do, may you discover that the God who raised Jesus from the dead is faithful to supply all you need, and that his grace is sufficient even in the waiting.
