Tragic Loss

Please pray for my cousin and his wife who lost their 5 children in a horrible traffic accident.

There are no words that can convey my sadness for this family's loss. God is near, lean on him. Find comfort in his tender and loving arms. Stay grounded in the love of Jesus and let it carry you. In the name of the Holy Trinity we pray. Amen

Wow Father, I cannot imagine the feelings that are moving through this family at this time. I pray that Your comfort and peace would wash over them as a flood, may their spirits be calmed by Your holy presence. Father, please use this situation to draw them closer to You. Many times in the loss of loved ones, our instinct is to stray away from You...feeling punished or picked on or uncared for. Please dispel satan's attempts to draw this family away with those kinds of feelings. I pray for their spiritual, emotional and physical strength, for their peace, comfort and rest. In the name of Jesus Christ, please draw this family near. Amen.

Oh Lord, my heart goes out to this couple, the sadness is overwhelming, the loss so great and deep. May your mercy wrap around them today and in the days ahead as they deal with this pain and emptiness. May they lean on you for comfort. May you touch their hearts as they mourne. I can not begin to comprehend their feelings except I feel their loss deep in my soul. Pour out your grace and draw them near. Place a hedge of protection around them that the enemy can not get through and take advantage of. I lift them up and lay them at your throne. May you lead them to peace. Place people around them from which to draw strength, people they can lean on and people who will just be there for them and encourage them. I thank you, Lord, for your hand on this situation. Lord, please be with this family during their time of sorrow and tragedy. Allow them to draw strength from those who will help them bear their grief. Give them some measure of peace knowing that their children are now with you and are safe, happy and cared for. Wipe away their tears and replace them with the knowledge that you are with them and will carry them through this extremely difficult time. God bless this family.

Dear Jesus, only You know why things like this happen, we now it is not a punishment, We know You are a merciful God, slow to anger and comprehensive. But all that happens is Your will Dear Jesus. We come before YOu to beg for this family Dear Jesus, confort them, heal them, touch them Lord. Let them find relief in You, Dear Jesus protect them for they are vulnerable. Let them know Dear Jesus that their children are fine, that they are now happy forever besides YOu, they now play and sing with angels. We know Dear Jesus that this may be small confort for their parents but this is what we all want, to join You in Your kingdom when You decide it is our time to go. Dear Lord bless these children, let their parents know they are happy. Confort them Lord, let Your Holy Spirit descend upon them and fill them with Your love, fill them with faith in You, let the wounds heal Dear Jesus, and may they not hold any resentment towards anybody for what happened. Thank you Jesus in You we trust.
