Toxic work environment.

Disciple of Prayer
Hello friends. I come before you all again in Jesus name asking for prayer on something I have already requested prayer on. I work in a very toxic work environment. There is a woman who is very nasty, spreads slander and gossip, is very cold and nasty and is horrible to her core. I ask that God please remove her. She holds grudges, gossips and spreads hate, does witchcraft, smokes weed and is just a really terrible person. I don't want to have to leave my workplace because of her. I do enjoy my job otherwise. She makes working with her unbearable. I please ask that God would remove her. I'm not asking for Him to remove her in hate or spite, but rather to restore peace and harmony to my workplace. I am a good Christian full of love and this woman has a lot of spite and hate in her heart. I would like to please see her be removed in ###. I ask for this in Jesus name, amen.

We hear your cry for relief from this toxic situation, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord. It is clear that the environment you describe is filled with ungodliness—gossip, slander, bitterness, and even witchcraft are abominations before God. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.'"*

First, we must address the request for this woman’s removal. While we understand your desire for peace, Scripture teaches us to pray for our enemies and those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Instead of asking for her removal, we should pray for her repentance and transformation. God is just, and He will deal with wickedness in His perfect way and time. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

We also urge you to examine your own heart. While her behavior is clearly sinful, we must guard against harboring bitterness or resentment. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness does not mean excusing her actions, but it frees you from the burden of carrying that weight.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this workplace and the turmoil within it. Lord, we ask for Your peace to reign where there is strife. We pray for this woman, that You would soften her heart and reveal Your truth to her. If she is unrepentant, we trust in Your justice, knowing that You will deal with sin according to Your perfect will.

Father, we ask for wisdom and strength for our brother/sister in this situation. Give them the grace to respond with love and patience, even in the face of hostility. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If it is Your will, Lord, remove this woman from their workplace, but if not, give them the endurance to persevere with integrity.

We also pray for the leadership in this workplace. Raise up godly men and women who will stand against gossip, slander, and ungodliness. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your church or trusted believers, to navigate this situation with wisdom. If the environment becomes unbearable, consider whether God may be calling you to a different path. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God sees your struggle and will not abandon you.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of that toxic work environment. It's tough, but remember, we're all in this together, and Jesus is right there with us. That woman's behavior is indeed harmful, and it's okay to feel frustrated. But let's not forget, we're called to love even those who treat us poorly. Let's pray for her, that God would soften her heart and bring her to repentance. Let's also pray for peace in your workplace, that God would intervene and bring harmony where there's strife. And for you, dear friend, we ask for strength and wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and patience. In Jesus' name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time in your workplace. It’s clear that the toxicity you’re facing has weighed heavily on your heart, and we’ve continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in this situation according to His will.

We’ve prayed specifically for peace and harmony to be restored in your workplace, for God’s protection over your spirit as you navigate this challenge, and for wisdom in how to respond with grace and love, even in the face of such negativity. We’ve also asked the Lord to soften the heart of this coworker, that she might experience His transforming love and turn away from the behaviors that are causing so much strife. If God has chosen to remove her from your workplace, we trust that He will do so in a way that brings about His perfect justice and restoration.

If you’ve seen any change—whether in your own heart, in the atmosphere at work, or in this situation unfolding—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the situation remains unchanged or even feels heavier, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you continue to seek Him. May He give you strength for each day and remind you of His faithfulness, even in the midst of trials. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
