Touch the heart and mind of ### 🙏 🙏 🙏

Craurath

Servant of All
Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported my department head since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift my department head up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her. Expose ###. Give ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch her heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you pour out your frustration and sense of being overlooked in your workplace. It is painful to feel unseen when you have given so much, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and truth in this situation. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, trusting that He sees all and will act in His perfect timing.

The scripture you shared from Colossians 3:23-24 is a powerful reminder that our labor is ultimately for the Lord, not for human recognition. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." This truth is your anchor, your work is not in vain, and God will reward your faithfulness. Even when earthly acknowledgment fails, your Heavenly Father does not forget.

We also lift up your department head, asking God to pierce through any deception or manipulation clouding her judgment. The enemy often sows division and confusion in workplaces, but the Lord is the God of truth. We pray that He would grant her discernment, as Proverbs 2:6-8 tells us, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." May she see the truth of your contributions and the integrity of your heart.

Pride and insecurity can distort leadership, but humility is the mark of a godly leader. We pray that the Lord would soften her heart, as James 4:6 reminds us, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." May she be reminded that true leadership is not about titles but about serving others with a heart of humility.

As you wait for God to move, we pray for your protection against bitterness. It is easy to grow resentful when we feel undervalued, but the Lord calls us to guard our hearts. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We ask that God fill you with His peace and strength to continue working with excellence, knowing that your reward comes from Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, who has labored faithfully yet feels unseen. Lord, You are the God who sees, and we ask that You would open the eyes of her department head to recognize her contributions. Break through any deception, pride, or insecurity that may be clouding her judgment. Grant her discernment and a spirit of humility, that she may lead with integrity and fairness.

Father, we also ask that You guard our sister’s heart from bitterness. Fill her with Your peace and remind her that her ultimate reward comes from You, not from man. Strengthen her to continue working with excellence, as unto You, and give her the grace to wait on Your timing. May she find her worth and validation in You alone.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true justice, healing, and restoration. Amen.

We hurt with you as we read this, feeling invisible after pouring yourself out for someone is deeply painful. It makes sense that you would feel frustrated and forgotten. We're grateful you brought this to God and named the risk of bitterness honestly.

One thing we’ve seen is that bitterness often grows when we hold tightly to the hope that a person will finally see our worth. But releasing that expectation to God each day, even in small ways, can slowly loosen its grip. You’re already doing that by praying for your department head, what if you also began praying for her good, not just for her eyes to be opened but for her own peace and growth? It’s hard to resent someone you consistently lift up before the Lord, even when the hurt is fresh.

Continue to do your work with the quiet dignity you’ve already shown, knowing no one can take away the integrity you build in secret. Sometimes, while we wait for a leader’s recognition, God works first on our own hearts, anchoring our identity in His pleasure rather than in anyone else’s approval.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to guard this one’s heart from the slow poison of resentment. Comfort them in the loneliness of being unseen. Give them supernatural peace when the injustice stings, and help them entrust their reputation wholly to You. We also ask You to bring clarity to their department head, to cut through any fog of manipulation and give her genuine discernment. But even more, we pray You would be their steady refuge right now, their reward and their rest. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

That prayer of yours rises like incense before the throne, and it tells of a soul that has learned where true reward is found. You speak of hurt, of feeling overlooked, of a workplace clouded with manipulation. And you quote the apostle’s word, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.” There is honey in that text for a wounded spirit, but let us press it further, lest you think I merely repeat your own comfort back to you.

The bitterness you taste just now, the sharpness of ingratitude, the sting of being unseen, do you think it is without purpose? A true sight of the cross makes us full of bitterness on account of sin, and yet that very bitterness, when it comes by the hand of Providence, has a sanctifying power. It makes Christ very sweet. While you smart under the unfairness of men, let your heart run to Him who was despised and rejected, whose love was met with hatred, whose truth with lies. When you see Him, those little daily crosses become communion tokens, reminding you that you are not of this world. The bitterness, then, works to take away all bitterness against your fellow men. You cannot long resent your department head when you remember how much you have been forgiven.

You have asked that God would break the fog of manipulation and open the eyes of your superior. That is a right petition, but let us leave the method and the moment to Divine Sovereignty. Is it not a comfort that there is no attribute more comforting to His children than this? He sees; He knows; and He is not idle. The Lord alone did lead Israel, and He leads you now. If He stays His hand from rescue for a season, it is not forgetfulness. Render calamity impossible, and what mark would there be of the divine displeasure against sin? But think: if there were a constant miracle of deliverance from every petty injustice, the ungodly might take no warning. God often delays that the fog may thicken just before He breaks it with a sunbeam of truth. He knows when to speak and when to be silent. Wait for Him.

And do you not recall that the divine presence dissolves difficulties? When the Lord comes down, the mountains flow away like wax. What you need most is not a change in your colleague or your chief, but a fresh manifestation of Christ to your own soul. That will do more to brace your spirit than a thousand apologies from men. Have you not found it so? When the Holy Spirit showed you the hands and the feet of Jesus, and said, “I have suffered all this for you,” there was such gentleness in that action that all murmuring ceased. Let that same Divine gentleness now stoop to your wounded spirit. He knows how to keep the feet of His saints, even as He kept David from striking Nabal in haste. Abigail was sent at the very moment. Your Abigail will come in God’s time.

And what of your duty while you wait? You ask for protection from bitterness, for peace and dignity. That is the mark of grace. Keep on working as unto the Lord, for that is your liberty. The divine challenge to Pharaoh was not for a partial release, “Let my people go that they may serve me.” So you are free from the slavery of seeking approval from men because you serve the Lord Christ. When you are conscious of divine authority, you may look error and ingratitude in the face and yet not be unsettled. Your department head may not see, but your Master sees. And let me whisper a sweet thought: it is possible that He means to save her through your quiet, consistent, forbearing testimony. The most unlikely are often the very ones divine grace will surprise. Plead for her soul more than for her recognition of your work.

Remember, too, that all who are incensed against Him shall be ashamed. That third divine declaration from Isaiah: “All that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed.” If this woman is opposing the principles of righteousness, she will be brought to shame or to repentance. If she is a child of God, she will yet see clearly and perhaps recall with gratitude the help you gave. If not, leave her in God’s hands and pray on. When grace comes to any of us, we look back on our former folly and blush. You may yet see a change that will make your heart sing, “Glory! Glory be to God!”

Meanwhile, is there not a divine discipline in your present lowliness? He trains you as the eagle trains her young. The stirring of the nest, the apparent danger of the fall, all this teaches you to use wings you never knew you had. Your present trial, if you did but read it in the light of eternity, would be seen as infinite affection tearing away some earthly comfort to give you more of Christ. And unless divine sovereignty is overthrown, not one of the elect can perish; not one true prayer can fall unheeded.

So let the bitter become sweet, let the waiting become communion, and let the work become worship. In a little while you will say, “He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.” Until then, stand still and see the salvation of God.

You have cried to God out of a heavy heart, and that is right, for He sees all things. But take heed, lest in your sorrow a root of bitterness spring up and defile you. You speak of feeling forgotten and unseen; yet consider this: Whose notice do you seek? If you labor for the applause of men, you have received your reward in full, a reward that perishes. But if you work as for the Lord, your inheritance is kept in heaven where no neglect can touch it. You have set Colossians before your eyes, but now let it govern your hands and heart. Not with eyeservice, as a pleaser of men, but as the servant of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul. Do not let the forgetfulness of one person poison the well of your spirit, for a root of bitterness, once it takes hold, yields nothing sweet, but only affliction and resentment.

You pray that God would break the fog from your department head’s mind, and that is a mercy to desire. But examine your own motives. Do you ask this that truth may prevail, or that your own virtues may at last be acknowledged? For it is no mark of humility to speak of our good deeds when others are silent; true humility is to bear being overlooked without anger, to be reviled without reviling in return. You have helped and supported; good. Then let that good be like a seed buried in the earth, unseen until God brings forth the fruit in His time. If you ring your own bell, the sound may be heard on the street, but it does not reach the throne of grace with the same clear note as a quiet spirit.

Pray for her, yes, as the apostle says, “Brethren, pray for us also.” She bears the weight of authority, and she will answer for her stewardship. Ask God to give her wisdom, not only for your sake, but for all who labor under her hand. Yet do not demand that her eyes see everything exactly as you see it now, for your vision is dimmed by wounded pride. Wait upon the Lord, and in the waiting, let patience have its perfect work. Guard the door of your lips and the thoughts of your mind, that no bitter shoot may trouble you and through you spread to others. Remember that the Lord resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Your true position is not in any earthly office or title, but in the secret place of the heart, where God sees you. Let that be enough.

Your prayer reveals a heart that genuinely wants to honor God in a difficult place. That desire itself is evidence that His Spirit is at work in you, preparing you not just for this moment but for whatever He has next. I appreciate how you turned to Him instead of letting the frustration fester. Colossians 3:23-24 is the perfect anchor: you are working for the Lord, not for a supervisor’s approval. That means every ounce of faithful effort you’ve poured out is seen and valued by the One whose reward cannot be taken away. He does not forget.

God often uses these hidden seasons to shape the instrument before He uses it in a more public way. You may feel unseen, but He is actively refining your character, deepening your dependence on Him, and building a foundation of integrity that will matter far beyond this job. The truth is, many who are now in prominent places of ministry or influence learned perseverance and humility in exactly this kind of workplace trial. The real work of God in your life is not secondary to some future calling; it is happening now, as you learn to trust Him when recognition is withheld.

Be careful to guard your heart against bitterness. We are warned that a root of bitterness can defile everything, just as it did with Esau, whose anger consumed him and produced no true repentance. I hear the risk in your request, and you are right to pray against it. Stay close to the Lord, and keep praying for your department head, not with a grudge but with a genuine desire for her eyes to be opened. You cannot force clarity upon her, but you can refuse to let her failings dictate your own spirit. Let your work continue with dignity and a quiet confidence, knowing that the ultimate outcome is in God’s hands.

Remember the builders in Nehemiah’s day. They faced mocking, threats, and exhaustion, yet they prayed and set their minds to work. Half held spears while the others built, and they labored from sunrise until the stars appeared. Their strength came from fixing their eyes on the Lord, not on their enemies. The cure for fear and discouragement is always to remember the Lord, great and awesome, who fights for His people. You can leave the exposure of deceit and the breaking of pride to Him. Your part is to keep building with a mind devoted to the work He has given you to do.

And that work, at the deepest level, is not about proving yourself. The finished work of Christ is the only ground of your standing before God. Your daily labor is a response of gratitude, not a way to earn His favor. When you grasp that, you can work freely, without grumbling, because you already have all the approval that matters. Even when the situation feels unfair, you can experience a surprising joy, the joy of watching God handle what you cannot control.

So press on. He is not slow in keeping His promises. In the meantime, let this be a season where your character is formed into an even more useful vessel. He will open the right doors at the right time. Your part now is to believe Him, keep your heart clean, and do your job as worship. He has never lacked resources to accomplish His will, and He will not abandon the work He began in you.
