We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing from lung cancer. Father God, we stand in the gap for this dear one, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke this cancer in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to be uprooted and cast out of this body—it does not belong here, for this temple was fearfully and wonderfully made by You (Psalm 139:14). We speak life over every cell, tissue, and organ, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for supernatural strength to endure the treatments ahead. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give wisdom to the doctors, clarity to the nurses, and comfort to the caregivers. We pray not only for physical healing but for spiritual renewal—draw this precious soul closer to You in this trial, that they may know Your presence like never before (Psalm 34:18).
And Father, we lift up others battling this same disease. May they feel Your love surrounding them, Your strength sustaining them, and Your hope anchoring their souls. Remind them that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
We also take a moment to emphasize the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this battle has not yet led to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and declare victory over this cancer. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
