Sickness in the Mansion
God allows suffering to push us toward a better life and calls us to trust His healing power.
Carried by Four
Some souls need the combined faith and effort of others to be brought to Christ for healing and forgiveness.
Migration Heavenward
The birds know their time to migrate and urge us to rise above worldly temptations and start our journey toward God without delay.
We join with you in agreement in Jesus' name for your neighbor's healing and recovery, and we are grateful for your compassionate heart toward him in this serious time.

We stand on the promise of our Lord that when we agree together in prayer He hears us. Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20 Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. We agree with you now that God would bring healing, strength, and restoration to this dear man.

We know that our God is the healer. Scripture declares in Exodus 15:26 for I am Yahweh who heals you, and in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We cling also to Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and to Isaiah 53:5 By his wounds we are healed. We also remember James 5:14-15 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up our neighbor to Your throne of grace. You see him, You know his body and his needs, and You love him more than we do. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon him, that You would restore what the stroke has damaged, bring circulation and strength, renew his mind, his speech, and his mobility according to Your perfect will. We pray for the doctors, nurses, and therapists caring for him, that You would give them wisdom and skill. We pray for his family and for all who love him, that You would give them peace, comfort, and hope during this difficult time. We pray that through this trial he and his loved ones would draw closer to You and experience Your presence and mercy. Let Your will be done in his life for Your glory. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hear our prayers when we come through Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to lift him up daily, to visit and encourage him and his family as you are able, and to trust the Lord's timing and goodness in his recovery. God is faithful and He hears the prayers of His people.

Thank you for bringing ### to us in prayer. It speaks so well of you that you are watching out for a neighbor in such a frightening moment, and we are honored to agree with you before the Lord for him.

A serious stroke leaves so much uncertainty for the person and for those who love him. It is good and right to bring him to Jesus and ask for mercy, for healing and for strength for each day ahead, trusting God's care even as we wait to see how He will work.

If you are able to stay in touch with his family or those close to him, a brief word that you are praying and asking if there is a practical way to help can be a real comfort. It also lets them know they are not carrying this alone. We will continue to pray that the doctors and nurses caring for him have wisdom and that he receives the best possible care.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your healing hand upon him. We ask for comfort for him and peace for his family, for wisdom for his medical team, and for Your presence to be near to them in these difficult days. We trust him to Your good will and ask all this in the name of Jesus, amen.
