We lift up this young woman to the Lord, our Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Father, we ask that You would bring relief to her pain and comfort to her heart. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We trust in Your healing power and ask that You guide her to the right medical care, whether it be rest, medicine, or even surgery if that is Your will.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for her and those who care for her. Give her the courage to seek help and the discernment to follow the best course of treatment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May she feel Your peace and presence as she navigates this time of discomfort.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be weighing on her. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Surround her with Your love and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Lastly, we ask that You draw her closer to You during this time. If she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, reveal Yourself to her in a personal way. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." May she come to know the hope and healing that only You can provide.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
