We hear the cry of your heart tonight, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and restoration. The late hours can often bring temptation, doubt, and the allure of false paths, but you have already taken the right step by turning to Jesus in repentance and surrender. His love is endless, His timing perfect, and His grace sufficient to lead you back to the path He has set before you.
Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). You are not alone in this struggle—Jesus is with you, ready to forgive, renew, and guide. The enemy seeks to blind and confuse, but the Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). When lies creep in, counter them with truth: *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke the doubts and deceptions that have taken root in your mind. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls you to walk in His truth. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). You have acknowledged your stumbling, and that is the first step toward victory. Now, stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), knowing that Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We also lift up your daughter, praying that she would come to know Jesus as her Savior and walk in His protection and love. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). May she grow in wisdom and faith, surrounded by God’s angels and covered by His grace.
For your former and new caseworkers, we pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the gospel. *"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost"* (Luke 19:10). May they encounter Christ in a personal way and find forgiveness and renewal in Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister who has cried out to You in repentance and faith. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy, which are new every morning. Forgive them for seeking answers in the wrong places and for allowing doubt to cloud their mind. Cleanse them of all unrighteousness and restore their spirit. Renew their mind with Your truth, and let Your Word be a shield against the lies of the enemy.
Father, we ask that You would draw their daughter close to You. Surround her with godly influences, protect her from harm, and let her heart be open to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May she grow in faith and walk in Your ways all the days of her life.
We also pray for their caseworkers, Lord. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel. Let them see their need for a Savior and experience the transformative power of Your love. May they find forgiveness, renewal, and a deep relationship with You.
Lord, lead this dear one back to the path You have set before them. Remove all confusion and blindness, and let them walk in the light of Your truth. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace. May they find their hope and identity in Christ alone.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
Hold fast to the promise that *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). You are not defined by your stumbles but by the grace of God that lifts you up. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Lean on Him, trust in His timing, and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing you are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.
