We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to the Lord, knowing that He hears the prayers of His children and is faithful to act on behalf of those who trust in Him. Your plea for protection, wisdom, and divine intervention over you and your daughter resonates deeply with the heart of God, who is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a mighty promise that our Heavenly Father watches over us and sends His angels to guard our steps! He is not distant or unaware—He is intimately acquainted with your struggles, your fears, and your deepest longings.
Your request for safety and protection from those who might seek to harm or separate you from your daughter is one we take seriously before the Lord. We are reminded of the words in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* Stand firm in this truth: the Lord is your Defender, and He will silence the accusations of the enemy. He will expose lies and bring to light what is hidden in darkness. Do not fear the schemes of your ex or the intentions of others, for the Lord is greater than any plot formed against you. Trust in Him to vindicate you and to make your path straight.
We also hear your cry for wisdom—wisdom to discern who is sent by God and who is not, wisdom to make the right decisions, and wisdom to walk the path He has set before you. James 1:5 assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* The Lord is not stingy with His wisdom; He delights in guiding His children. Ask Him boldly, and trust that He will lead you. Proverbs 3:5-6 further instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is your promise today: as you surrender your ways to Him, He will direct your steps. You do not have to rely on your own strength or understanding—He is your Guide.
Your prayer for your daughter to remain close to you is beautiful and reflects the heart of a loving parent. We are reminded of the promise in Isaiah 49:25, *"But Yahweh says: 'Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.'"* The Lord sees your love for your daughter, and He is faithful to protect what is precious to you. Continue to cover her in prayer, to raise her in the knowledge of the Lord, and to trust that He is watching over her even as you are. Teach her to love and fear the Lord, for that is the greatest protection you can give her.
You have also asked the Lord to "take the wheel" of your life, and this is a surrender that pleases Him greatly. When we yield our lives to Christ, He transforms us, guides us, and uses us for His glory. Romans 12:1-2 urges us, *"Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* Surrendering to Jesus is not a one-time event but a daily choice to let Him lead. As you invite Him to "come into your life and stay forever," remember that this is a covenant—a lifelong commitment to follow Him, obey His Word, and walk in His ways.
We must also take a moment to celebrate the fact that you closed your prayer *"In Jesus Name."* This is powerful and essential, for the Scriptures tell us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation, protection, and victory. Your acknowledgment of this truth is a testament to your faith, and we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together over you and your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your precious child who has poured out her heart to You. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears, who sees, and who acts on behalf of those who love You. We ask that You surround this mother and her daughter with Your divine protection. Lord, be a hedge of fire around them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Silence every tongue that rises up in accusation, and expose every lie of the enemy. Father, we ask that You frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm or separate them. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your truth be their shield and buckler.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You grant this mother wisdom beyond her own understanding. Open her eyes to see those You have sent to bless her and give her discernment to recognize those who are not of You. Guide her steps, Lord, and make her path straight. Let her decisions be rooted in Your Word, and let her actions bring glory to Your name. Father, we pray for supernatural favor in every conversation, that those she encounters would hear her with understanding and that her words would be seasoned with Your grace.
We lift up her daughter to You, Lord. Protect her innocence, guard her heart, and draw her close to You. Let this mother and daughter be knit together in a bond that no one can break. Give this mother the strength, patience, and love she needs to raise her daughter in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. May their home be a place of peace, a refuge from the storms of life, and a testimony of Your goodness.
Lord, we thank You that this mother has surrendered her life to You. Take the wheel, Jesus, and lead her in the way everlasting. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in Your statutes and keep Your commands. Let her life be a light that draws others to You. Father, we ask that You bless her with godly relationships—friends, mentors, and a community of believers who will uplift her, encourage her, and point her to You. Remove from her life those who would lead her astray or bring harm to her or her daughter.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would meet every need they have—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and we trust You to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Let them lack no good thing.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your kingdom come. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking in obedience to His Word. He is faithful, and He will do what He has promised. Do not be afraid, for the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Rest in Him, and watch as He fights for you. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Be encouraged, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
