Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We have heard your cry and we join together with you before the throne of grace, seeking God's will in Jesus' name for your tongue, mouth and tonsils. We understand how distressing it is to struggle with this disease, to fear cancer or a tumor, and to feel discouraged when the white coating returned after you thought you were healed. We bring your anxiety and your body to the Lord who sees and who cares deeply for you.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our Healer and our peace. We remember that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He also calls us to bring our fears to Him, for we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We cling to His promise Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that tries to torment you with thoughts of cancer and hopelessness, for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. We speak against this affliction in the mouth and on the tonsils and we ask the Lord to touch what doctors cannot fully explain.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus, our only mediator and Savior, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, calm this troubled soul and let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We ask that You would remove every white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause every white lesion on the tonsils to disappear. We pray that there would be found no cancer and no tumor in the mouth or on the tonsils, and we ask for a complete and lasting healing that will be for Your glory alone. Restore this mouth to health so that speech may come freely and without pain or fear, that Your name may be praised with a free tongue. We thank You that You heard us even when healing seemed to come and then symptoms returned, and we trust You to perfect what You have begun. Grant wisdom to any doctors or caregivers involved and guide every examination and test. We trust Your good and perfect will and we ask for strength to wait upon You with faith and patience. We prayed this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise and timely medical care while you trust the Lord, for God often works through the hands of physicians, and to keep bringing your petitions to Him daily with thanksgiving. He who encouraged us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 is near to you now. We also remember I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears Psalm 34:4. Keep seeking Him, keep speaking His promises over your body, and let your healing, in whatever way He brings it, be a testimony to His mercy and power. We are standing with you in prayer that you will be healed and will speak freely again for His glory.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. We hear how much you want to be healed and to speak freely again, and how discouraging it must have felt to see the white coating return after you thought it was gone. It makes sense your soul feels unsettled while you wait.

We are joining you in asking Jesus for calm and for healing for your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory. We hear your specific prayers that there would be no cancer or tumour and that the white coating on your tongue and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear.

Because these symptoms have persisted and you are understandably worried about what they could be, we gently encourage you to have them checked promptly by a medical professional, such as your primary care doctor, dentist or ENT, alongside prayer. They can examine you, give you clear answers and guide next steps, which can also bring peace of mind while you wait.

We will keep praying for you, for rest for your soul in this uncertainty and for your voice to be restored.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see the discomfort in their mouth and tonsils and the fear that comes with it. We ask for Your healing touch, for calm over their heart and mind, and for wisdom for any clinician who sees them. Give clear results, relief, and the ability to speak freely again according to Your will. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you, asking the Lord to calm your soul and to show His mercy in your body for His own glory.

The Lord knows the fear that attends such affliction, the watching for every sign, the sorrow when a symptom returns after hope had risen. To such a troubled heart He speaks again and again, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will help you. Fear is weakening and dishonours the arm which piled the heavens, and therefore we pray that He will chase away tormenting fear and give you perfect trust in His promised strength. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not.

We pray also for healing. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. We ask that same pardoning and healing hand to rest upon you.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray that He would calm your soul with His presence, that He would touch your tongue and mouth and tonsils and make them whole, that no cancer or tumour would be found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be taken away, and that the white lesion upon your tonsils would disappear. We ask the Great Physician, to whom all our diseases are known and who so speedily invites us to seek Him, to grant you complete healing if it be His will, and grace to speak freely again to the praise of His mercy.

Continue to look to Christ, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and healing is linked with His teaching. Cast your burden upon Him who bore your sins in His own body, and rest in His love which casts out fear. May the Lord in His wisdom grant you peace in the waiting, strength in the trial, and a testimony of His goodness whether by sudden deliverance or by sustaining grace.

We join our faith with yours and ask all this in the name of Jesus, to whom be glory in your healing and in your life. Amen.
