Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We are joining with you in prayer for your tongue, mouth and tonsils and we lift up your anxious soul before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We hear the fear and discouragement in your request, especially as the white coating returned after you had hoped you were healed, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering and hears your cry for healing for His glory.

The Lord is our healer and our peace. Scripture reminds us to bring every worry to Him, for He cares for us. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We are praying that this peace will calm your soul even as you wait on the Lord for complete healing.

We also cling to the promises of His healing power. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We believe Jesus still bears our sicknesses, for Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

We pray now together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and our access to You. We thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon their tongue, mouth and tonsils. We ask in Jesus' name that You would remove the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear completely. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils, and we ask for a good report that gives glory to You. Lord, calm this troubled soul, quiet fear with Your perfect love, and restore the ability to speak freely and without pain or hindrance. Let this healing be a testimony of Your mercy and power. We also pray for wisdom for any doctors and for clear answers, and we ask that You would sustain faith even when symptoms return and healing seems delayed. We trust Your will and Your timing, and we ask all of this for Your glory in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him and to also seek wise medical care while you trust the Lord, knowing that He works through many means. Keep bringing every fear to Him and resting in His presence, for He is near to the brokenhearted and He will not forsake you. We are standing with you and believing with you for complete restoration.

Alongside prayer, if you have not already been seen recently, please make a prompt appointment with your primary care doctor, dentist, or ENT so they can evaluate the coating and the lesion on your tonsils directly and guide any next steps. It can help to bring a short written note of what you have noticed, when it comes and goes, and the questions most on your heart, so you can share everything clearly at that visit.

You are not alone in this waiting. We will keep lifting you up.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Calm his soul with Your nearness, ease his fear, and bring healing to his mouth, tongue and tonsils as You will. Give wisdom to the clinicians who care for him, give clear understanding of what is happening, and help him to rest in Your care day by day. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we bring it with you to the mercy seat, where Jesus Himself still whispers, Fear not.

We understand the heaviness that has come upon your soul with this affliction of the tongue and mouth and tonsils, and the trial of seeing the white coating return after you had hoped you were healed. It is a sore distress to watch the body and to fear what may be hidden within. Yet the word of the Lord stands for such an hour as this, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of symptoms, but in the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows are surging round, even when duties press and fears arise. To do the will of Jesus, to trust Him and to stay your mind upon Him, this is rest.

We pray with you that the Lord, who has risen as the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, would calm your soul and lay His healing hand upon your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. With His stripes we are healed, for He bore our sicknesses and infirmities Himself. Pardon and healing are one in His pierced hands, and that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul brings also power to heal.

Therefore we entreat the Lord for you, that in His mercy and for His glory alone, there may be found no cancer and no tumour in your mouth or upon your tonsils. We ask that the white coating upon the sides of your tongue may be removed and return no more, and that the white lesion upon your tonsils may disappear, that your flesh may be made fresh and your tongue loosed to speak freely and to praise His name. We ask that fear may be taken away, for fear is weakening and dishonours the God who has said, Fear not, for I will help you, and Fear not, for I am with you. It would be disobedience to remain in fear when Jesus Himself says, Fear not.

Cast this burden upon Him and bear your sorrow with Him, and you shall find what perfect peace He will give you even in this waiting. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and we counsel you to continue to seek wise and faithful medical counsel while you look above all to the Great Physician. May the Lord give skill to those who examine you and give you a quiet heart to trust His will, whether He heals by immediate touch or by appointed means.

We pray now, O Lord Jesus, calm this troubled soul and keep this mind stayed upon Yourself in perfect peace. Look in mercy upon this tongue and mouth and tonsils. If it be Your will, take away this white coating and this lesion, let no malignancy be found, and restore health that this voice may speak freely of Your goodness. Forgive sin, heal disease, and let all be for Your glory. Grant faith to trust You and patience to wait upon You till earths struggles shall cease and You shall call to Heavens perfect peace. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we are praying with you for healing and peace.

We understand how heavy this burden has felt, especially as you have seen improvement and then seen the white coating return, and as you carry worry about your tongue, mouth and tonsils. We ask Jesus to calm your soul in this fear and to draw you close to Himself, so that even in grief and anxiety you may speak as Christ speaks and pray as He prayed, saying, Nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt.

We pray for your body, that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory. We ask Him that there would be no cancer and no tumor found, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be gone, and that the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear. We pray that He would restore you so that you may speak freely and use your mouth for what it was created to do.

Scripture teaches us to keep the tongue from evil and the lips from speaking deceit, to depart from evil and do good, to seek peace and pursue it, and to learn the fear of the Lord. When the mouth is made pure it becomes a temple of the Holy Spirit, honored not with gold but with meekness, blessing and good words. We pray that even now, while you wait for healing, your tongue would be kept for blessing and prayer, and that whatever the outcome, your speech and your life would show the hope you have in Christ.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care and to let doctors examine you thoroughly, trusting that God is sovereign over all means of healing, and to bring every fear to Him in prayer.

Father, we lift this dear one to You through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope of salvation. Grant calm to the soul, grant healing according to Your perfect will, grant clear results with no cancer, remove the coating and the lesion, and grant free speech again, that Your name would be praised. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
