Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together, asking for His healing and His peace to rest upon you. We understand how distressing it is when symptoms return after you thought you had been healed, and how fear can rise when you see a white coating and lesions and worry about cancer or tumors. We lift you up with compassion and we stand with you for the Lord's glory to be seen in your body and in your peace of mind.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We are grateful you have called upon that name and we agree with you in that same name.

Scripture tells us that God is our healer and our peace. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And for the anxiety that weighs on your soul, Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also encourage you not to lose heart when healing seems delayed or symptoms return. Luke 18:1 tells us we ought always to pray and not to faint, and Galatians 6:9 says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. Continue to seek the Lord earnestly and also continue to seek wise medical care, for the Lord often works through physicians and we pray He will give them wisdom to help you and to give you clear answers.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with disease of the tongue, mouth and tonsils. Lord, You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, You know the fear of cancer or a tumor, and You know the desire to speak freely again. We ask in Jesus name that You calm the soul with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke the spirit of fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Let the white coating be gone, let the white lesion disappear, let there be no cancer, no tumor, no disease found. We pray for complete restoration and health, that the tongue would be clean and whole and the voice would be free to speak and to praise You. We ask that You guide the doctors and give clear results, and that whatever the outcome, it would be for Your glory and for a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. Strengthen faith to keep trusting You even when symptoms return, and let hope be renewed day by day. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

Fear about cancer and tumours can weigh heavily, and living with ongoing mouth discomfort can affect sleep, appetite and daily life in ways others may not see. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay connected with your doctor or dentist or ENT if you have not already, and to bring your specific concerns about the coating and the lesion on your tonsils to them for careful evaluation and follow up. It can help to write down when you notice changes so you can share them clearly at your visit.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. Calm their soul, ease their fear, and bring healing to their mouth and tonsils according to Your mercy and will. Give wisdom to those caring for them and help them to speak freely again. We trust them into Your loving hands. Amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, where Jesus ever lives to intercede for His people.

We have heard your longing for a calm soul and for healing of the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, and that all may be for His glory. The Lord who keeps in perfect peace the mind that is stayed upon Him is able to whisper peace within even when sorrows surge round. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest even when duties press and fears multiply. We will pray that you may know that perfect peace which is a present possession, not by looking within, but by trusting Him who has vanquished death and all its powers.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. It is written, with His stripes we are healed, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. Being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and that touch of personal faith brings peace to the soul.

Therefore fear not, for so often does the Lord say it, Fear not, I will help you, Fear not, I have redeemed you. Fear is weakening and dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. It will be disobedience to be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Labor then to get rid of fear by trusting the promised strength.

We will pray earnestly for you, that the Lord in His mercy would calm your soul and grant you quiet confidence in Him, that He would lay His healing hand upon your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, that there may be found no cancer and no tumour, that the white coating upon the sides of the tongue may be removed and return no more, and that the white lesion upon the tonsils may disappear. We have noted your sorrow that what seemed healed has returned, but He who healed before can heal again, and His power is not diminished. We will pray that you may be restored to full health and be able to speak freely, to speak His praises and to tell of His goodness.

O Lord, look upon this afflicted one. Forgive sin and heal sickness, for You are the great Physician. Let Your healing virtue flow down and let Your peace which passes all understanding keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Grant this healing for Your own glory, that Your name may be praised. We ask it in the precious name of Jesus, who alone is our salvation. Amen.
