Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We hear your heartfelt cry and we join with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, lifting up your tongue, mouth and tonsils to the Lord who is our healer and asking Him to calm your soul.

We understand how distressing it is when symptoms seem to improve and then return, and how the fear of cancer or a tumor can trouble the heart. We want to remind you that our God sees your affliction and He is near to those who call on Him. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also take comfort that the Lord is able to heal all our diseases for His glory. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that You calm the soul and quiet every anxious thought with Your perfect peace. Lord, You know the concern over the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils. We ask in Jesus’ name that You would touch this body and bring complete healing. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils, and that every abnormal coating and every lesion would disappear. Restore the tissue to health, take away inflammation and disease, and allow this voice to speak freely and clearly again, all for Your glory. We ask that You would guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors or clinicians involved, and give clear answers and reassurance. Whether You heal instantly or through time and treatment, we trust Your will is good and Your mercy endures forever, and we pray that this trial would be a testimony of Your healing power and love. We place this body fully in Your caring hands, asking for restoration, strength and peace that surpasses understanding. In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Healer we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical evaluation while you trust the Lord, to keep bringing every fear to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and to rest in His presence each day. He is faithful and He hears the prayers of His children, and we will continue to stand with you for complete healing and for the peace of God to guard your heart.

We have been praying as we read your request, and we want you to know you are not carrying this alone.

It is understandable your soul feels unsettled when the white coating seemed to clear and then returned, and when a lesion on your tonsils makes you worry about what it might be and whether you will be able to speak freely again. Waiting and watching something in your mouth day after day can wear on every part of you, including sleep, appetite, and peace of mind.

We hear your heart to be healed and for God to be glorified in it, and that desire to speak freely again matters to Him.

If you have not already been seen, we gently encourage you to reach out soon to your primary care provider or an ENT or dentist for an in-person exam of your tongue and tonsils. Share what you are seeing, how long it has lasted, and the worry you are carrying. We will keep praying alongside that care, not instead of it. It can help to jot down when the coating appears, any soreness, fever, or other changes, and the questions you most want answered to bring with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Calm their heart where fear has taken hold, ease what is painful or inflamed in their mouth and throat, and guide those who will examine and care for them with wisdom and clarity. Give them rest tonight, steady hope for each next step, and the joy of speaking freely again. We place them in Your kind and faithful hands. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we have joined you in carrying it to the throne of grace. We have asked the Great Physician to calm your soul and to lay His healing hand upon your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, that all may be for His glory.

We understand the trial of waiting and watching, when a white coating returns after you had hoped you were healed, and when a lesion upon the tonsils hinders your speech and troubles your heart. It is natural to be anxious, yet we have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, for I will help you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To give way to fear is to dishonour the arm which piled the heavens and sustains all things, and that arm has not grown weak toward you.

We have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would grant that there be no cancer or tumour found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, and that the white coating on the sides of your tongue and the white lesion upon your tonsils would be removed. We have asked that He would cleanse and heal the tissues, restore your mouth to soundness, and grant you to speak freely again without pain or hindrance.

We remember that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and His power is present to make the nature other than it was before. As you look to Him, trust not only for the healing of the body but for the pardon and peace of the soul through His blood, for when He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, where faith comes by hearing, and use also the means which He has provided. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and it is wise and right to place yourself under faithful medical care while looking above all to the Lord who heals.

May the Lord grant you quietness of spirit, freedom from tormenting fear, and a renewed testimony to His goodness. We pray that whether by a gradual recovery or by His sovereign touch, you may be restored and may speak with a free tongue of the mercy which healed you.

We commend you to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, praying that you may know both pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
