Your honest cry has been heard and I have been praying for you, asking the Lord to calm your soul and to bring healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory.
The Bible says a great deal about the tongue. It is a very small part of the body, yet it carries great power. A tiny flame can set a whole forest on fire, and in the same way the tongue can do great harm or great good. Scripture says the power of life and death is in the tongue, that a wise tongue uses knowledge well, and that a healthy, wholesome tongue is like a tree of life that brings healing and comfort to others. The highest and best use of our tongue is to bless God and to praise Him, and at the same time our tongue can reveal what is in our hearts. That is why your desire to be healed so that you can speak freely and praise Him is such a good and right desire. The Lord understands that desire completely.
In your private prayers, even when words are difficult and pain makes it hard to speak, remember that when you speak to God, your spirit is speaking to Him. He understands the mysteries and deep cries of your heart even when no one else could understand. Praying in your own private devotion builds you up and strengthens you, and God hears you. Paul reminds us that the Spirit gives gifts as He wills, and healing is in His sovereign hands, yet we are invited to earnestly seek His help and to ask with confidence.
I am also praying for your peace. To fear the Lord in Scripture does not mean to live in terror, but to live in reverent awe of who He is, His greatness and His power and His nearness to you. When we stand in awe of Him, we can trust Him. The eyes of the Lord are on those who trust Him and His ear is open to their cry. He has not despised the affliction of the afflicted, but when we cry to Him, He hears. You do not need to be afraid. He is with you, He is watching over you, and He keeps you.
So I am joining my faith with yours and asking the Lord Jesus for complete healing. I am asking that He would remove the white coating from the sides of your tongue and cause the white lesion on your tonsils to disappear, that He would cleanse and restore the tissue of your mouth and tonsils, and that the reports would show no cancer and no tumor at all. I am asking Him to take away fear and to give you a calm and settled heart, and to restore your ability to speak freely and clearly so you can use your tongue again to praise Him, to encourage others, and to speak words that bring life and healing.
Keep bringing this need to Him honestly. Keep using your tongue, even now, to bless Him as you are able. He is able to heal, He is compassionate, and He is worthy of your trust whether the healing comes in a moment or through a process. May He comfort you, strengthen you, and be glorified in your body and in your testimony. In the name of Jesus, amen.
