Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We hear your burden and we join with you in bringing your tongue, mouth and tonsils before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and for His perfect peace to calm your soul. We understand how discouraging it is when symptoms seemed to improve and then the white coating and the lesion returned, and how the fear of cancer or a tumor can weigh heavily on the heart. We stand with you and we lift this before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We are thankful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer and that He cares deeply for our bodies and our souls. Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to be near in fear and weakness, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10 and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the concern over the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, and the fear of cancer or tumor. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch and heal this mouth and throat completely, that every coating and lesion would disappear, that the tongue and tonsils would be restored to health and wholeness, and that examination would show no cancer and no tumor. We ask that You calm this soul with Your peace that surpasses understanding, quiet anxious thoughts, and let this healing be for Your glory so that this tongue may speak freely and praise Your name. We ask for wisdom for any doctors and for clear answers, and for strength to trust You even when symptoms return and discouragement comes. Let Your will be done and let Your healing and comfort be evident. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily and to cast your cares upon Him, and also to continue to seek wise medical care as God often works through physicians to bring healing. Do not lose heart when healing seems delayed, for the Lord is faithful and His steadfast love endures. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving, speaking His promises over your life, and using your voice even now to give Him glory. We are praying with you that you will be healed, that you will speak freely again, and that your testimony will point others to the goodness of God.

It is understandable to feel disappointed and on edge when symptoms come back.

We are praying with you for quietness in your heart in this waiting, for clear answers, and for healing in a way that brings glory to God in His mercy. We do not know what the findings will be, but we are asking Him to give you comfort, wisdom, and steady care in the days ahead.

A primary care doctor, dentist, or ENT can examine your tongue and tonsils directly, hear your concerns, and advise on next steps. It can help to write down when you notice the coating or lesion, any pain or change in speaking, and to bring a trusted friend or family member with you to the appointment.

Father, we bring this dear one to You in Jesus name. You see the mouth and throat You created and the worry held inside. Grant calm today, guide the clinicians who examine, grant clear understanding and the right care, and bring ease in speaking and rest. Keep this one close to You. Amen.

Your request concerning your tongue, mouth and tonsils has been heard, and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace. We understand the weariness and fear that comes when a white coating and a lesion return after there seemed to be healing, and when thoughts of cancer or tumour press upon the soul, and the desire simply to speak freely and to know calm within.

The Lord knows your frame and sees this affliction, and He invites you to trust Him with both soul and body. The prophet speaks of the one whose mind is stayed upon the Lord, that He will keep him in perfect peace, peace, peace, because he trusts in Him. This perfect peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ in the midst of it. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge round. When duties press and when the body is weak, to do the will of Jesus and to rest upon His finished work is rest. We pray that He will calm your soul with that peace which passes all understanding, and that you may know His keeping power day by day.

We also bring your body before the Great Physician, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue, and His power is present to forgive and to heal. As He once said to the palsied man, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, so pardon and healing flow from the same gracious hand. We do not trust in leaves or in any virtue of our own, but in Christ Himself, who bore our sicknesses and by whose stripes we are healed. While we pray for healing, we encourage you also to remain under the care of wise physicians, for the Lord often works through such means, yet our ultimate hope is in Him.

You have asked that there be no cancer or tumour in your mouth or on your tonsils, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be gone, and that the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, so that you may be healed and speak freely for His glory. We have prayed and do pray for these very things. And we hear our Lord say, Fear not. He says, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. He says, Fear not, for I am with thee. Fear is weakening and dishonours the God who piled the heavens and sustains all things, and therefore we labor to put fear away by trusting His promise, I will help thee.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come for this dear one who suffers in tongue and mouth and tonsils. Lord, calm the soul and quiet fear. Let perfect peace rule within through trust in You. Look upon the tongue and the tonsils, we beseech You. If it be Your will, remove the white coating and cause the white lesion to disappear. Grant healing, that there be no cancer and no tumour found, and that speech may be restored freely and without pain. Touch the body as only You can, and let it be for Your glory, that Your mercy and power may be praised. Forgive sin, heal infirmity, and draw this heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and life. Sustain through waiting, give wisdom to those who give care, and let Your will be done in all things. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our hope and our healer. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in lifting your voice to the Lord for healing and peace.

We pray that God would calm your soul in this time of fear and waiting, and that He would lay His healing hand upon your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils. We ask Him in His mercy to remove every white coating and every white lesion, to cleanse and restore the tissue, and to grant that no cancer or tumor be found. We pray that you would be healed fully, that your tongue would be made clean and whole, and that you would be able to speak freely again, and that all of this would be for His glory.

Do not let grief or fear pervert your tongue, but let your tongue remain as a hand that lays hold of the knees of God. The Scriptures teach that in the power of the tongue are death and life, and that by our words we are justified, so keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile, and offer your prayer with a clean heart. Even as Christ Himself knew sorrow and fear in His humanity and yet said, Nevertheless not as I will but as Thou wilt, so we encourage you to pray both for healing and for trust in the Father's perfect will.

We remember that our Lord showed such healing care for us, that being God He became man and left undone nothing that our healing required, and He still gives gifts of healing by the same Spirit according to His wisdom. Bring your request to Him often, with weeping and honest prayer, seeking His mercy, and continue to seek wise medical care as you trust Him for the outcome.

We pray now, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this Your servant. Calm the troubled heart, take away fear, forgive sins and cleanse the tongue that prays to You. Touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, remove the white coating and the lesion, let no malignancy be found, and restore health and clear speech. Grant healing if it be Your will, and grant peace and strength to speak words full of gentleness and truth that imitate Christ, whatever Your answer may be. Let this trial bring forth what is precious and let Your name be glorified. Amen.
