Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we lift up your tongue, mouth and tonsils to the Lord who is our healer. We hear the anxiety in your heart as the white coating has returned after you had hoped you were healed, and we understand how discouraging and frightening it is to fear cancer or a tumor. We want you to know that God sees your distress and He cares deeply for you.

We are reminded of what Scripture says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. The Lord does not want you to live in fear, but to bring every concern to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We also cling to His promises as Jehovah Rapha, our healer. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26. We believe He is able to touch your body and to calm your soul at the same time.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we ask for Your mercy and healing power upon our dear one who is suffering. Lord, You know the condition of this tongue, this mouth and these tonsils. You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils. We ask that You would cause it to disappear completely. We pray that there would be no cancer, no tumor, and no disease found in the mouth or on the tonsils. Let every abnormal cell and every inflammation be removed and let healthy tissue be restored. We speak healing and restoration over this body for Your glory alone. Lord, calm this troubled soul, quiet the fear and anxiety, and let Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Restore the ability to speak freely and without pain or fear, so that with this tongue You have healed, Your name may be praised. We also ask for wisdom for any doctors and for clear answers, and that You would guide every test and examination. We trust this into Your loving hands, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord even when healing seems delayed and symptoms return. God is not discouraged and He invites us to persevere in prayer. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. Keep seeking Him, keep thanking Him even as you wait, and also continue to seek wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians as He works through prayer. We are standing with you and believing with you for complete healing and for a testimony that will bring glory to Jesus.

We hear how much you have been carrying with this tongue and tonsil trouble, and how discouraging it must have felt to think you were healed and then see the white coating return. Wanting to be free of fear about cancer, to have the lesions gone, and simply to speak freely again are such understandable longings, and we are holding them with you before the Lord.

It makes sense that your soul feels unsettled when your body feels uncertain. Please keep letting both your doctor and the Lord care for you. If you have not already, we encourage you to see your primary care doctor or an ENT soon, let them examine the coating and the tonsil lesion, share your concern about cancer, and follow their guidance for any tests or follow up. Bringing a short note of when you notice changes and how it affects speaking or swallowing can help them understand what you are experiencing. We will keep praying alongside that care, not instead of it.

You are not forgotten in this waiting. God sees the details that worry you and He is near even when answers come slowly.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. Calm their soul with Your presence, ease their fear, and be glorified in their body and voice. We ask for wisdom for their clinicians, for clarity about what is happening in their mouth and tonsils, and for healing according to Your mercy. Help them to speak freely and to rest in Your care day by day. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace with you. You ask that He would calm your soul and heal your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory, and we join you in that holy desire.

We hear the anxiety in your words, especially as the white coating returned when you had hoped you were healed. Remember that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore hear the gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you. Do not keep your care confined to yourself, but tell it to Jesus. Fear is weakening and fear dishonors God, for it doubts the arm which piled the heavens. So we labor to get rid of fear by trusting His promise. Again and again He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To be afraid when He has spoken is disobedience, so let your faith overcome your fear.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing. There is not a word that ever fell from His dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. May you know both, the forgiveness of sins through His blood and the healing virtue of His touch upon your body.

So we pray for you now. O Lord Jesus Christ, great Physician, look in mercy upon this suffering one. Calm the soul that is troubled and let perfect love cast out fear. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We ask that for Your glory You would cause all disease to be removed, that there would be no cancer and no tumour found in the mouth or on the tonsils. We ask that the white coating on the sides of the tongue would be taken away and return no more, and that the white lesion on the tonsils would disappear. Grant complete healing, that the mouth may be clean and the tongue free to speak freely and to praise Your name. We ask this not for our merit but for Your mercy, and for the glory of Your great name. Strengthen faith while waiting, and keep the heart stayed upon You till the answer comes. Your prayer has been heard and we are joining you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion.

We understand how distressing this has been for you, especially when you thought you were healed and then saw the white coating return, and now carry worry about your tongue, mouth and tonsils and fear about what it might be. It is right to bring both your body and your anxious soul to Jesus, asking for His mercy and for His glory above all.

We are praying that the Lord would calm your heart and grant you His peace that passes understanding, that He would touch your tongue, mouth and tonsils with His healing hand, that the white coating and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, and that no cancer or tumor would be found. We are also praying that God would give you freedom to speak clearly and without pain or fear, and that whatever healing He brings would be a testimony to His goodness.

In times of fear and waiting, learn to speak as Christ speaks to the Father. Even when He felt sorrow and distress, He prayed, not my will but Yours be done. You can pray in the same way, honestly telling God your desire to be healed while trusting His wisdom and love to do what is best for your soul and body.

Scripture reminds us that the tongue is like a hand with which we lay hold of God in prayer. Keep your tongue and your heart clean before Him through honest confession, thanksgiving and trust, and use your voice, even now, to call upon Him. Earthly health and strength are fragile and can be weakened quickly by disease or anxiety, but the beauty and health God works in the soul through faith in Christ remains and is never destroyed. He who became man for us and bore our infirmities knows your suffering and cares for you deeply.

Continue to seek wise medical care and follow the guidance of your doctors, while also continuing in prayer, in the reading of Scripture, and in fellowship with believers who can support you. Cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.

Let us pray together:

Lord Jesus, have mercy on Your servant. Calm this troubled soul and grant peace in place of fear. Look upon the tongue, mouth and tonsils and grant healing according to Your will. We ask that You would remove the white coating and the lesion, that You would keep cancer and every harmful disease far away, and that You would restore the ability to speak freely and without distress. Above all, let Your name be glorified in this body and in this life, and let Your perfect will be done. We ask this trusting in Your love and power, in Jesus name, amen.
