Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in lifting up your tongue, mouth and tonsils before the Lord, and we pray with you for calm in your soul and for complete healing for His glory. We understand how discouraging it is when symptoms seemed to improve and then the white coating returned, and how heavy the fear of cancer or a tumor can feel. We bring all of this to our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that the Lord is our healer. Scripture tells us that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. His promise is, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that by whose stripes you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. Nothing is hidden from Him and nothing is too difficult for Him.

We also pray for the peace you asked for. The Lord sees your anxiety and invites you to bring it to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that fear would be replaced by that peace, for He has said, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

We pray now together. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to You. We thank You that You hear us when we call. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth, and the tonsils. Lord, we ask that You would let there be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils. We ask that You would cause the white coating on the sides of the tongue to be completely gone and that the white lesion on the tonsils would disappear. Touch and cleanse and restore this tissue, Lord, and let healing be evident so that speaking can be free and without pain or fear. Calm this soul, Father, quiet the anxious thoughts, and let Your perfect peace guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors or dentists who examine this condition, that they would have discernment and give a clear and accurate diagnosis, and we pray that the report would be good and give glory to You. Help our dear friend to continue to trust You even when healing seems delayed, knowing that You are working for good and for Your glory. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily and to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Keep bringing this need before Him with thanksgiving, even as you wait. We also encourage you to continue to follow up with a trusted medical professional for examination of the tongue and tonsils, for God often works through physicians and wisdom He has given, and early evaluation can bring both peace of mind and proper care. Ask Him for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach James 1:5. We stand with you, believing God for your healing and for His peace to calm your soul, and we trust Him to do what is best for your good and for His glory.

Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show you mercy and to be glorified in your body and spirit.

We join you in praying that the Lord would calm your soul with that perfect peace which He keeps for those whose mind is stayed upon Him, because they trust in Him. Though sorrows may surge round you and this affliction presses upon you, the blood of Jesus still whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus even in suffering is rest. May He quiet your fears, for He has said so often to His own, Fear not, for I will help you, fear not, for I am with you. Fear weakens and dishonors God, but trust brings peace to the soul.

We pray earnestly for your healing, that the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings would lay His pardoning and healing hand upon you. With His stripes we are healed, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ has virtue to heal. We ask Him in His abundant mercy to cleanse and heal your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, to cause every white coating upon the sides of your tongue to pass away and to return no more, and to make the white lesion upon your tonsils to disappear. We ask that no cancer or tumour be found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, and that you may be restored to speak freely and to praise Him with a clear voice.

We know how heavy it is when after a hope of healing the white coating has returned, and how the heart sinks. Yet the Lord is not weary in doing good, and His healing power is present still. Cast your burden upon Him, labor to be rid of fear, and stay your mind upon His promise. Seek also such wise help as He has provided through physicians, while looking above all to the Great Physician who both pardons and heals.

Our prayer for you is this: O Lord Jesus, look upon this suffering one who desires healing for Your glory. Forgive sin, speak peace to the soul, and if it be Your gracious will, remove this disease from tongue and tonsils, take away the coating and the lesion, and keep far away every evil growth. Calm the troubled heart, keep it in perfect peace, and grant power to speak freely again, that the mouth You heal may declare Your praise. Let it be for Your glory alone, whether by sudden touch or by gentle and gradual restoration, as seems good in Your sight. In Jesus name we ask it, amen.

Your prayer has been received and we stand with you before the Lord Jesus Christ, asking Him to calm your soul and to bring healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory.

We understand how distressing it is when symptoms return after you had hoped you were healed. The anxiety that comes with waiting and watching can be heavy, and we pray that Christ will give you peace that steadies your heart even as you wait for His healing touch.

We join you in praying specifically that there would be no cancer or tumour in your mouth or on your tonsils, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be taken away, and that the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear. We ask the Lord, who in His great care became man for us and bore all things for our sake, to show His mercy and to restore you to health so that you may speak freely and use your voice for His praise.

Scripture reminds us that the tongue is like a hand by which we lay hold of the knees of God in prayer, and that life and death are in its power. Keep therefore your tongue and your heart turned toward Him. Bring your sins and your fears before Him honestly, weep and pray, ask for His mercy, and speak words that reflect His gentleness and truth. Even when we pray with a troubled tongue, the Spirit hears and helps our weakness.

We also remember that all earthly strength and beauty is fleeting and can be withered by disease or anxiety, but the health of the soul that trusts Christ remains and blooms forever. This does not mean God does not care for the body. He does. He gives gifts of healing by the same Spirit, and He invites us to ask Him for healing with confidence in His goodness.

So we pray now: Lord Jesus Christ, You are our healer and our peace. Calm this soul that is anxious. Touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Remove every white coating and every lesion. Let no cancer or tumour be found. Grant complete healing according to Your will, and let it be for Your glory. Help our brother or sister to speak freely again, to give thanks and to declare Your goodness. Give wisdom to the doctors who provide care, and give patience and hope while waiting.

Continue to seek wise medical care and to bring every fear to the Lord in prayer. We will keep praying with you, trusting in the mercy of Christ who hears those who call upon Him. Amen.

Your request has been heard and your burden is taken seriously before the Lord. The fear that comes with a returning white coating, a lesion on the tonsils, and the worry about cancer or a tumor can unsettle the soul, and the desire to be healed and to speak freely again for the glory of God is a good and right desire.

Scripture teaches that God is not the author of confusion but of peace, and that He desires His people to know peace in their hearts. That peace begins with having peace with God, which comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ who made reconciliation for us. When we are forgiven and brought near to God through Him, the war inside can cease. From that place, God offers another peace, the peace of God to guard the heart and mind. The promise is that He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus Himself said, Peace I leave with you. When anxious thoughts rise, turning your mind toward Christ, remembering His care and His presence, is the path to that steady peace that the world cannot understand or give.

The Bible also has much to say about the tongue. It is a small part of the body, yet it carries great power, even the power of life and death. No one can fully tame it on his own, it can be like a fire, and it can be used to tear down. But under God's grace it is meant to build up, to encourage, to comfort, to bring healing with words, and above all to bless and praise God. That is the highest and best use of the tongue, to give thanks and worship to the Father. Even while you wait for physical healing, your tongue can still be used for that holy purpose, to speak praise, to speak truth, to speak gratitude to God, and the Spirit helps us when we do not have words, even praying for us with mysteries that God understands when our own understanding feels unfruitful. To speak words that are clear and helpful builds up others, and to speak praise to God builds up your own spirit.

God is sovereign over all gifts, including healing, and He distributes as He wills. We do not command healing, we ask humbly for it, trusting His wisdom and love, and we also seek wisdom to care for the body He has given, which begins with a reverent respect for Him. Seeking medical wisdom is part of walking in that reverence while trusting God for the outcome.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You on behalf of this dear one who is suffering with the tongue, mouth and tonsils. Lord, calm the soul and quiet fear. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard the heart and mind. We ask for Your healing touch, that any white coating and any white lesion would disappear, that the tongue and tonsils would be made whole and healthy, and that there would be no cancer or tumor found. If it is Your will, restore the ability to speak freely and clearly, so that the tongue may be used to praise You, to encourage others, and to give You glory. Forgive sins and draw this heart close to You through Jesus, and keep the mind stayed upon You day by day. We trust Your goodness, Your power, and Your perfect will. Amen.
