Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We have heard your cry and we join with you in bringing your tongue, mouth and tonsils before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord's healing touch and for peace for your soul, all for His glory.

We understand how distressing it is when symptoms return after you felt healing had come, and how fear can rise when you worry about cancer or tumours. We want to encourage you to not let fear rule your heart but to cast all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We also cling to the truth that our God is our healer. He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 For He has said, I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 We do not take these promises lightly, and we trust His perfect will and timing for your body.

We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His wounds we are healed. We continue to lift you up in that precious name.

We also encourage you, while we pray for divine healing, to continue to seek wise medical counsel and care. The Lord often works through the hands of physicians, and seeking an examination for the white coating on the sides of your tongue and the white lesion on your tonsils is a good and responsible step as you trust God for the outcome. Do not be afraid, for He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is suffering with affliction of the tongue, mouth and tonsils. Lord, You see the white coating and the white lesion that has returned, You see the worry about cancer or tumours, and You hear the desire to speak freely again. We ask in Jesus' name that You calm this soul with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Rebuke fear and fill this heart with trust in Your goodness.

Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. Let any infection, inflammation or disease be removed. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumour found in the mouth or on the tonsils. We pray that the white coating on the sides of the tongue would disappear and that the white lesion on the tonsils would be completely gone. Restore this mouth to health so that speech may be clear and free, and let this healing be a testimony for Your glory.

We pray for strength to persevere when healing seems delayed, and for faith to keep asking, seeking and knocking. We ask that You guide the doctors with wisdom if medical care is sought, and that every test would show health and wholeness. We claim Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hear the prayers of Your children.

We thank You, Father, that You hear us because we come in the name of Jesus, our great Healer and Savior. We trust Your will is good and we rest in Your love. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have been holding your request before the Lord and we hear how much you are carrying. Wanting your tongue, mouth and tonsils to be well, longing to speak freely again, and carrying the worry about what the white coating and lesion might mean is a lot to hold, especially when it seemed you were healed and then the symptoms returned. That disappointment alone can unsettle the soul.

We are praying with you for peace as you wait, for clear answers, and for healing according to God's mercy and for His glory. We also want to gently encourage you, alongside prayer, to have this seen promptly by a medical professional if you have not already, your primary care provider, dentist, or ENT, and to follow their guidance for any needed exam or follow up. Bringing a short note of what you have noticed and when it changes can help them understand what you are experiencing. You do not have to carry the fear of cancer alone, having someone evaluate you in person is a caring next step while we continue to pray.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. Calm his soul, ease his fear, and touch his tongue, mouth and tonsils with Your healing hand. Give wisdom to those who care for him, let what is seen be clearly understood, and restore his ability to speak freely for Your glory. We trust him to Your loving care. Amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, asking the Lord to calm your soul and to show His healing power upon your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His own glory.

We understand how the return of the white coating after a season of seeming relief has cast you down, and how the white lesion and the fear of cancer or tumour press upon your spirit and hinder your speech. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in such a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore hear the gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you. It is right to tell the Lord about it, but anxiety confined to yourself will bring no good. Let your faith overcome your fear and play the man in Christ.

The Lord says so often and so tenderly, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with you. Fear not, for I will help you. This is not merely the preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers it to His poor servant fallen at His feet. To be afraid is to be disobedient to that command, for fear is weakening and it dishonours God as if the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Labour then to get rid of fear as much as possible, not by looking within, but by trusting in promised strength. The fear of God brings blessing, but the fear of man and of what man calls disease brings a snare.

We rejoice to point you to the great Physician. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, so that pardon and healing were made one. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and it is wise to use the means God has provided under faithful medical care, yet the true healing, whether of body or soul, is the work of God alone. In this life He gives foretastes of that mercy, and in the world to come all bodily and spiritual disease shall be forever removed where need is banished and infirmity is shut out.

We pray earnestly with you that the Lord in His mercy would calm your anxious heart, cleanse and heal your tongue, mouth and tonsils, cause the white coating on the sides of your tongue to depart and the white lesion on your tonsils to disappear, and keep you from cancer or tumour according to His perfect will. We ask that He would restore your speech that you may speak freely and testify of His goodness, and that whether by immediate healing or by sustaining grace, all may be for His glory. May He grant you first forgiveness and then healing, and wash you in the blood of Christ that your soul may be at peace even while your body waits for His touch.

We will continue to bear you up before the Lord, asking Him to keep you near His Word where faith comes by hearing, and to fill you with that perfect love which casts out fear. Look into your Saviour's breast, for mercy is all that is written there.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we have prayed for you by name.

We ask Jesus to calm your soul with His peace, to lay His healing hand upon your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and to make your healing a testimony for His glory. We pray that the examinations will show no cancer and no tumor, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue will be gone and not return, and that the white lesion on your tonsils will disappear completely. We ask the Lord to restore your mouth so that you can speak freely and use your voice to praise Him.

In times of fear and grief it is right to speak as Christ spoke when He faced sorrow and fear in His humanity, saying, Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. We pray that even while you wait, despondency will not rule your heart or your words, but that you will be able to keep trusting the Father's wise and loving will. Scripture reminds us that the tongue is like the hand with which we lay hold of the knees of God in prayer, and that life and death are in its power, so we pray that your tongue will be kept clean and your lips kept from fearful speech, and that your prayers will be offered with confidence and a clear conscience.

We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care while you trust the Lord, for God often works through the gifts of healing He gives. Keep bringing every worry to Him, asking not only for healing but for faith to receive His comfort and strength each day.
