Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we hear the weariness and anxiety in your heart as this white coating has returned and the lesion on your tonsils remains after you thought you were healed. We know how discouraging it is when symptoms return, and we ask the Lord to calm your soul and to grant you His peace as you wait on Him.

We are reminded that our God is the One who heals and who is near to us in our fear. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He also says to us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And when anxiety rises we take comfort that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus Himself invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

We lift you up now in prayer together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the tongue, the mouth, and the tonsils, You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, and You know the fear of cancer or a tumor. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch and heal this mouth completely, that the white coating and the lesion would disappear, that there would be no cancer and no tumor found, and that healing would be complete for Your glory. Calm this soul, Lord, quiet the fear and disappointment from the return of symptoms, and fill this heart with Your perfect peace. We pray that You would restore the ability to speak freely and without pain or fear, and that every word spoken would give You thanks and praise. We ask that You guide the hands and wisdom of doctors and dentists who examine this condition, that they would have discernment and that any needed treatment would be effective. Let Your healing power be evident, for You are Yahweh who heals us. We trust Your goodness and Your timing, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, our only way to You and our source of salvation. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care promptly with your doctor or an ear, nose, and throat specialist so this white coating and tonsil lesion can be evaluated and monitored, while you continue to trust the Lord daily for healing and peace. Keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, resting in His presence, and speaking His promises over your body. We are praying with you that the Lord will grant you clear health, a calm heart, and a voice that can freely speak of His mercy and glory.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend before You. You see this tongue, mouth and tonsils, the white coating and the lesion that brings worry. We ask for Your mercy and healing according to Your will, for wisdom for the clinicians who may care for them, for a calm heart while they wait, and for ease in speaking again. We have heard your cry and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking Him to calm your soul and to show His healing power in your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His own glory.

You speak of anxiety that has returned with the white coating and the lesion, and of the fear that there may be cancer or tumour. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. When anxiety is confined to yourself no good will come of it, but when it is told out unto the Lord it finds a helper. Therefore hear the word which the Lord repeats so often to His people, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. It is not merely a preacher who says Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid when He has said Fear not is disobedience, for fear is weakening and dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. The fear of God brings blessing, but the fear of man and of what may be brings a snare, and perfect love casts out fear, for fear has torment.

We remember also that the Lord has joined healing and pardon together. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but His leaves are full of healing virtue, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Jesus our heavenly Physician still links healing with His teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and so we encourage you while you pray to also seek wise medical care, telling the physician plainly what you see, that means may be used in the hand of the Great Physician.

Let us pray with you now. O Lord our God, Thou who seest the tongue and the tonsils and every part of our frame, calm this troubled soul and let peace rule where anxiety has reigned. Lay Thy pardoning and healing hand upon this mouth. We ask in the name of Jesus that there be no cancer and no tumour found there. Take away the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear. Restore the mouth to health, that the tongue may speak freely and clearly, not to complain but to praise Thee. If it be Thy will, grant a complete healing that all may see it is for Thy glory, and whether Thou healest at once or by degrees, keep this dear one trusting in Thy abundant healing power in Christ. We ask that fear be removed by Thy promise, and that faith may look to Jesus who will in no wise cast out any that come to Him. Amen.

Continue to look to Christ, to hear His Word, and to cast your care upon Him who cares for you. He who has promised to help will not fail you.
