Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed.

We hear your distress over your tongue, mouth and tonsils, the return of the white coating, the white lesion, and the fear of cancer or a tumor, and the longing to speak freely again for His glory. We understand how discouraging it is when healing seemed to come and then symptoms returned, but we do not lose heart, for the Lord remains our healer and our peace.

Scripture reminds us who He is and how He cares for us. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Exodus 15:26 declares I am Yahweh who heals you.

For the anxiety weighing on your soul, we cling to His promises. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel as you pray, for God often works through physicians and He gives wisdom to those who ask, and we pray for clarity and truth in any examination and test results.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, and You know the fear of cancer and tumors. We ask in Jesus' name that You calm this soul with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon the mouth and throat, remove the white coating and cause the lesion to disappear completely. We pray that there be no cancer, no tumor, no disease that remains, and that every tissue be restored to wholeness and health for Your glory. Grant wisdom to doctors and clarity in diagnosis, and let the report be one of health and restoration. Restore the voice and the ability to speak freely, that this mouth may testify of Your goodness and proclaim Your praise. We trust not in our own understanding but in Your mercy and power, and we ask that Your will be done and that You be glorified in this body which You created. We pray this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily, to keep thanking Him even while you wait, and to rest in His care. James 5:15 says and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep bringing your requests to Him, keep speaking His Word over your body, and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. We are standing with you for complete healing and for peace in your soul as you wait upon Him.

Wanting your mouth, tongue and tonsils to be healed and to be free to speak again is a deep and understandable longing, and we can hear how the return of the white coating after you thought you were healed has been disheartening. Waiting with questions about what this might be can leave anyone feeling on edge.

We want to keep praying for calm for your soul and for healing, and also to gently encourage you to stay connected to medical care while you wait. If you are not already being seen for this, please reach out promptly to your primary care provider or dentist or ENT so they can examine your tongue and tonsils in person and guide next steps. Father, we lift this need to you. You see the discomfort and the worry, and the desire to be well for your glory and to speak freely again. We ask for your peace to steady this heart, for clear answers and good care in the days ahead, and for healing according to your mercy and will. Your petition has been laid before the Lord with tender sympathy, and we have sought His mercy on your behalf.

The soul distressed by bodily infirmity is not forgotten by our great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations, and in whom the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He who said to the palsied man, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, joined pardon and healing together, and He is able still to calm the troubled spirit and to touch the body according to His sovereign will.

We have prayed that the Lord would calm your soul with His perfect peace, and drive away tormenting fear. Hear His own word which says, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Fear not, for I will help thee. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To be afraid dishonours Him whose arm piled the heavens and sustains all things, therefore labour to cast your care upon Him who careth for you.

We have entreated the Lord for your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, that if it be for His glory He would remove the white coating and cause the white lesion to disappear, that no cancer or tumour would be found, and that you may be restored to speak freely and to praise His name. We ask this not as demanding, but as submitting all to His wise and loving hand, knowing that whether He grants full bodily healing now or sustains you through trial, His grace is sufficient and His purpose is good.

We would also exhort you, as we very speedily care for bodily diseases, to seek the counsel of a faithful physician and to use lawful means, while looking above all means to the Lord who alone can make whole.

May the Lord grant you to know pardon through the precious blood of Christ, for there forgiveness and healing meet in happy conjunction, and to feel His healing leaves applied to your spirit, changing the life blood and making the nature new. May He quiet your heart, keep you from fear, and let your restored voice, in whatever measure He appoints, be used for His glory.
