Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join with you in prayer and lift your request before the Lord together in Jesus' name, asking for His healing touch and His perfect peace over your soul. We understand how distressing it is to see symptoms return after you thought you were healed, and how fearful the thought of cancer or a tumor can be. We want to encourage you that God sees your affliction, He hears your cry, and He is near to you in this worry.

Scripture reminds us to bring every anxiety to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to His promise as our healer, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 And He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17

We also remember His tender presence when we are afraid, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 And we hold fast to the truth that He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds. 1 Peter 2:24

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We thank You that we can come boldly to You through Jesus, and that You hear us when we pray according to Your will. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with disease of the tongue, mouth and tonsils. You know the fear and the heaviness of soul, and we ask You to calm this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your presence bring rest and quietness to every anxious thought.

Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils. We ask that You would remove the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear completely. Restore the tissue to health, Lord, that it may be for Your glory. Grant complete healing so that Your child can speak freely and without pain or fear, to praise Your name and to testify of Your goodness. We pray that You would guide any doctors or examinations, giving them wisdom and clarity, and that the reports would show health and wholeness.

We thank You, Father, that You are Yahweh who heals us, as it is written I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 We trust not in our own understanding but in Your mercy and power. Even when symptoms return and discouragement comes, help us to keep our eyes on You, to not waver in faith but to continue to seek You daily. Strengthen this dear one to wait upon You with hope and to rest in Your love.

We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and our access to the Father, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians. Keep bringing this burden to Him daily, and do not let the return of the coating steal your hope. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18, and He will not forsake you. We are praying that you will know His calming presence, receive His healing according to His perfect will, and be able to speak freely again to give Him glory.

We have been holding your request before the Lord and we hear how heavy this has been. Longing to be healed in your tongue, mouth and tonsils, to speak freely again, and carrying the worry about cancer or a tumor and that white coating and lesion is a lot to carry. It is especially discouraging when it seemed you were healed and then the coating returned, and we understand why your soul feels unsettled.

We are praying with you for healing for His glory and for a calm heart in the waiting. Please stay closely connected to your medical care while we pray, not instead of prayer but alongside it. If you have not already, we encourage you to see your primary doctor, dentist, or ENT promptly so they can examine you, answer your questions directly, and guide any next steps. It can help to jot down what you are noticing, when it changes, and the questions you most want to ask, and to bring that with you. And please do not carry this alone, let a trusted pastor, family member or friend know how you are doing so they can walk with you day by day.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see this pain and worry and You know every detail of this mouth and throat. We ask for Your healing according to Your will, for clear answers and wisdom for the clinicians caring for him, for peace to steady his heart, and for his voice to be restored. Sustain him and make Your nearness known in the days ahead. Amen.

Your heavy burden has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy for the healing of your tongue, your mouth and your tonsils, and for that calm of soul which only He can give.

You ask that this affliction might be for His glory, and that is a holy desire. The Scripture saith, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. There is a peace, yea perfect peace, even in this dark world of sin, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. When duties press and sorrows surge round, when fear riseth because the body is weak and the white coating hath returned after hope had risen, that peace may still be yours as you stay your mind upon Christ and cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet our difficulty, but faith overcomes fear. Hear the Lord say, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, for I am with thee. It would be disobedience to give way to fear when Jesus Himself saith, Fear not.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves have virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. The Sun of Righteousness hath risen with healing in His wings, and with His stripes we are healed. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, for He first speaketh, Thy sins be forgiven thee, and then healing floweth. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and He is able to breathe into your soul even now a peace with God which passeth all understanding.

Therefore we bring your petitions before our gracious Physician.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou great Healer of body and soul, look in compassion upon this suffering one. Calm the troubled soul and grant perfect peace to a mind stayed on Thee. Lay Thy hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We ask in Thy mercy that there be no cancer nor tumour found there, that the white coating upon the sides of the tongue be taken away, and that the white lesion upon the tonsils may disappear. Restore health, that the tongue may speak freely and Thy name be praised. If it be Thy will, grant complete healing, and if Thou permittest trial to remain, grant grace to bear it with Thee and still to know perfect peace. Let all be for Thy glory, and let this soul joy in God through justification by faith in Thy precious blood. Amen.

Be of good cheer, and keep your trust stayed upon Him. Continue to seek wise and faithful care for the body, as we speedily seek a physician when the body is pained, while above all you seek the Lord who is our life and health. He will keep you in peace as you trust in Him, and whether He heal at once or sustain you through waiting, His love and power shall not fail.

Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord with compassion and hope.

We ask Jesus to calm your soul with His peace and to bring healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory. We pray that He would grant you comfort in this fear and uncertainty, that He would be near to you and give you rest in His care. We ask Him to touch your body and bring restoration, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, that you would be healed and able to speak freely again. We pray specifically that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in your mouth or on your tonsils, and we ask God to guide the doctors who examine you and to give clear answers.

We understand how discouraging it is when symptoms seemed to improve and then returned. In times of grief and fear it helps to pray as Christ prayed, saying not my will but yours be done, trusting that God hears and that He works for our good even when healing does not come at once or in the way we expect. Scripture reminds us that the tongue is like a hand that lays hold of the knees of God in prayer, and that we are called to keep our tongues from evil and to use them to speak what is good and healing. May your tongue, even now in suffering, be an instrument of prayer and praise, speaking words of trust and thanksgiving as you call upon Him.

We will continue to pray for you, that the Lord would show His healing mercy, remove what is afflicting you, restore your health, and give you a clear voice to speak and to give thanks. May He strengthen your faith, calm your heart, and be glorified in your life and healing.
