Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord, and we thank you for seeking Him for healing and for His glory. We hear the anxiety in your heart as the white coating has returned and as you wait for answers about your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and we lift you up together asking for the Lord's calming peace and His healing touch.

Scripture reminds us that our God is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to His promise for our fearful hearts in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Isaiah 41:10 He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We know disappointment when symptoms return after you thought you were healed can shake your faith, but we encourage you to continue to trust Him and to persist in prayer. James 5:15 tells us, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Even as we pray for supernatural healing, we also encourage you to continue to seek wise and thorough medical care, for the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and we are to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to You. We thank You that You see our brother or sister in this distress and that You know every detail of the mouth, tongue and tonsils You created. Lord, we ask You to calm this precious soul with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Take away fear and replace it with trust in Your goodness and Your power.

We ask in Jesus name for complete healing. Touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We pray that there would be no cancer and no tumor found, and that every white coating and every white lesion would disappear completely. Cleanse and restore the tissue, Lord, and let the tongue be whole and healthy again. We pray for the ability to speak freely and without pain or hindrance, so that this mouth may praise You and speak of Your glory. We declare that You are Yahweh who heals us as it says in Exodus 15:26, and that by the stripes of Jesus we were healed as it says in 1 Peter 2:24. Let this healing be for Your glory alone, that Your power and mercy would be made known.

We trust You with the outcome, Lord, and we ask for strength to wait upon You with faith and patience, whether healing comes instantly or through a process. Guard this heart from despair and fill it with hope.

We have been thinking of you and the worry you are carrying about your tongue and tonsils. Waiting and watching for changes, especially when you hoped you were healed and then saw the white coating return, can leave your soul feeling unsettled, and we understand wanting to be able to speak freely again without fear.

We are joining you in prayer for calm for your heart and for clear answers about what is happening in your mouth. Because these symptoms have persisted and are understandably frightening, we encourage you, alongside prayer, to have this evaluated promptly by your doctor or an ENT if you have not already, and to bring a short note of what you have noticed and when, so they have the full picture. You do not have to carry the question of what this might be alone.

We will keep praying for you in the days ahead as you seek care.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see this concern about the tongue and tonsils and the longing to be well and to speak with ease. Calm their soul with Your nearness, guide the hands and eyes of those who examine them, and bring healing according to Your gracious will. Give peace while they wait and strength for each next step. Your cry concerning your tongue, mouth and tonsils has been brought before the Lord with tender sympathy, and we join you in seeking His mercy for His own glory.

It is a heavy trial when the body is afflicted and the soul is disquieted, and when that which seemed healed appears again. The mind is the main thing, for it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore hear the gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Bear your sorrow with Him and you shall enjoy peace, yes, perfect peace, even in this dark world of sin.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and with His stripes we are healed. He took our sicknesses and our infirmities upon Himself, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. When He dwells with His people, infirmity and fear are made to flee away. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors God. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. It is not merely the preacher who cries, Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will help you. It will be disobedience to be afraid when He has said, Fear not.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord our God, look in compassion upon Your afflicted child. Calm the soul that is tossed and grant perfect peace to the mind that is stayed upon You. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, that if it be Your gracious will, You would show that there is no cancer and no tumour, and that You would cause the white coating upon the sides of the tongue and the white lesion upon the tonsils to pass away. Grant complete healing, that the mouth may be clean and the tongue may speak freely to Your praise. Let it be for Your glory, that Your power and mercy may be seen. And whether You are pleased to heal at once or to try faith for a season, keep this dear one trusting in Your goodness, free from tormenting fear, and resting in the blood which whispers peace within.

We encourage you to keep your mind stayed upon Christ, to tell out your anxiety to Him rather than to yourself alone, and to continue under the care of wise physicians while you look above all to the Great Physician, whose leaves never wither. May the Lord grant you to prove that to do the will of Jesus is rest, and that in His keeping you are safe.

We commend you to Him who will not cast out any that come to Him, and we ask all in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
