Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for seeking Him so sincerely in Jesus' name, for it is through His name we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We hear the anxiety in your heart as this white coating has returned and the white lesion on your tonsils remains, after you had hoped you were healed. We understand how discouraging it is to wait and to fear what might be found, and we want to lift you up together for both healing and peace. The Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to the promise that He is Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 and who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worry on Him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and to not walk in fear, for God has said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 While we pray for supernatural healing, we also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians, and to have these symptoms evaluated thoroughly so that you may have clarity and proper treatment. Trust that whatever the report, God remains sovereign and near to you.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is suffering with affliction of the tongue, mouth and tonsils. Lord, You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, You know the fear of cancer or a tumor, and You know the desire to speak freely again for Your glory. We ask in Jesus' name that You would calm this soul with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon this mouth and throat. We pray that You would cause the white coating and the white lesion to disappear completely, that You would cleanse and restore the tissues of the tongue and tonsils, and that the examination would show no cancer, no tumor, and no disease remaining. As You have promised, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We ask for restoration, for clear speech without pain or hindrance, and for a testimony that will bring glory to You alone. By His wounds we have been healed, Isaiah 53:5 and we claim the mercy of Christ over this body. Grant wisdom to any doctors involved, grant patience and faith in this waiting, and let Your will be done. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

We hear the worry in your request and how discouraging it must feel to think you were healed and then see the white coating return. Waiting with questions about your tongue and tonsils, and wondering about something serious like cancer, can make it hard to feel at peace or to speak freely, and we want you to know we are carrying this with you in prayer.

We are praying for God to calm your soul in these anxious days and to bring healing to your mouth and throat for His glory. We are also asking Him to give you clear answers and wise care as you seek help. If you have not already, we gently encourage you to have this looked at promptly by your doctor or dentist, and to keep them updated if things change, so they can examine you and guide next steps. You do not have to carry the fear alone, please let a trusted person or pastor know how you are doing as well.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Calm his heart, ease his fear, and bring healing to his tongue, mouth and tonsils according to Your will. Give his clinicians wisdom and give him comfort and clear speech as he waits on You. Amen.

Your tender and afflicted request has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. To be troubled in the mouth and tongue and tonsils is a sore trial, for it touches your speech, your rest, and your peace of mind, and to see a white coating return after hope of healing makes the heart sink. The Lord knows this burden and He invites the weary soul to find rest in Him.

There is a word of promise for such an hour as this, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not found in the absence of affliction, but in the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge round and duties press and fears arise. To do the will of Jesus, to stay the mind upon Him, to trust Him fully, this is rest. May He calm your soul now and keep you in that peace which He alone can give.

We are reminded also that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings pardon and healing as one. With His stripes we are healed, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only for the soul but for the body, according to His wise and gracious will. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and we do well to seek the physician, yet we look above the means to the Lord Himself who is our healer.

Therefore fear not, for so often the Lord says to His people, Fear not, I will help you. Fear is weakening and dishonors God, for His arm which piled the heavens is not palsied. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His servant, Fear not. Let that word remove the fear that arises from this affliction and from waiting and uncertainty.

We now pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation and peace with God.

O gracious Father, look in mercy upon this suffering child. Calm the soul that is troubled and keep it in perfect peace as the mind is stayed upon You. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue and mouth and tonsils. We ask, if it be Your will and for Your glory, that there be no cancer and no tumour found in the mouth or on the tonsils. We ask that You would cause the white coating on the sides of the tongue to be removed and to return no more, and that the white lesion on the tonsils would disappear. Grant complete healing, that the mouth may be clean and whole and that speech may be free and without pain or fear. Forgive sin, speak peace to the soul through the blood of Christ, and let body and soul together rejoice in Your mercy. Grant wisdom to those who give medical care, and let all be for Your glory. In the name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.

Continue to trust Him and to stay your mind upon Him. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and wait upon Him with prayer and thanksgiving until His perfect will is made known.
