Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, and we thank you for seeking Him so earnestly and for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father.

We understand how distressing this has been for you, especially when you thought you were healed and now the white coating has returned and the white lesion on your tonsils remains. It is deeply discouraging when symptoms linger and fear about cancer or tumors weighs on the soul. We want to remind you that God sees your affliction and hears your cry, and He cares for both your body and your anxious heart.

The Scripture tells us, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And again, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise when fear rises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And for the unrest in your soul we are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one. We ask You to calm their soul with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon their tongue, mouth and tonsils. We ask that You would remove the white coating from the sides of the tongue and cause the white lesion on the tonsils to disappear completely. We pray against any cancer or tumor in the mouth and tonsils, and we ask that You would bring complete restoration and health, so that they may speak freely and without pain or fear. Let this healing be for Your glory, that Your power and mercy would be made known. We pray You would guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors or clinicians they see, and give them clear answers and effective care. Strengthen their faith while they wait, and let them feel Your nearness, for You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily and to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Continue to bring this petition before Him with thanksgiving, trusting His will and His timing. We also encourage you as a good steward of the body God has given you to continue to have this evaluated by a trusted medical provider, while trusting ultimately in the Lord as our healer, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. Do not lose heart. Even when healing seems delayed, God is at work, and He is able to restore and to sustain you. We are standing with you and will continue to pray that your tongue and tonsils are made whole and that your voice is restored for His glory.

We have been holding your request before the Lord and we hear how discouraging it is to see the white coating return after you thought healing had come. Waiting and watching your tongue and tonsils day after day, worrying about what it might mean and longing just to speak freely again, can leave your soul tired.

We are praying with you for healing and for peace as you wait, and that the Lord would be glorified in your care. We join you in asking for His mercy over your mouth and tonsils, and for wisdom for those caring for you.

Because these lesions and coatings have lingered and you are understandably worried about cancer or a tumor, we encourage you, alongside prayer, to have a clinician you trust see you promptly if you have not already, an ENT or primary care doctor or dentist who can examine you, document what they see, and guide next steps. If you already have a doctor, bringing a brief note of when the coating appears, any pain, and how your voice feels can help them help you. Please keep reaching out for care and for support from people around you, so you are not carrying the worry alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Calm his soul, ease his fear, and bring healing to his tongue and tonsils according to Your will. Give his doctors clear eyes and give him rest and confidence in Your nearness. In Jesus name, amen.

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer with a sincere heart. You have asked Jesus to calm your soul and to heal your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory, and that is a prayer He delights to hear. We pray with you that no cancer or tumour would be found, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be taken away, and that the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, so that you may be healed and speak freely again.

We understand how heavy this trial has been, especially as the white coating returned after it seemed you were healed. That disappointment can stir great anxiety, and anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty. You are right to tell the Lord about it, for no good comes from carrying such fear within yourself alone. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Hear the word which the Lord speaks so often to His people, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear is weakening and it dishonors the faithful God who has promised, I will help you. You may feel as a worm and no man before this affliction, but the Lord says to worm Jacob, Fear not, I will help you, says the Lord. It is obedience to trust Him and to put fear away, not because the trial is small, but because your Helper is great. Fear Him who holds body and soul in His hands, and let no other fear master you.

We also remember that our Lord is the great Physician. As need is banished and infirmity is shut out where He reigns, so His power reaches to bodily and spiritual disease below. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves, the simplest touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature whole. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction, both bestowed by His pardoning hand.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases and soon seek a physician, and it is right to use the means God has provided. Continue to seek wise medical counsel while you look above all to the Lord who alone does the real saving and healing work. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He is able to heal the tongue and mouth as well, for our help comes from Him who made heaven and earth.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this afflicted one before You. Calm the soul that is troubled and let perfect love cast out fear. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. If it be Your will, let no cancer or tumour be found, let the white coating be removed and let the white lesion disappear. Grant complete healing according to Your mercy, and restore free and clear speech, that this healing may be for Your glory. Forgive sin, heal disease, and let this dear one know the comfort of Your presence and the power of Your grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our hope and our healer. Amen.

Be of good cheer, and look to Christ. He will not cast out any who come to Him. We will continue to pray for you and ask the Lord to give you peace as you wait upon Him.
