Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join with you in prayer together and we hear the distress in your soul over this affliction of your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and we bring your concerns before our Father in Jesus' name.

We know how discouraging it is when symptoms seem to improve and then return, and how fear can rise when you see a white coating and a lesion and worry about cancer or a tumor. We want to remind you that our God is both our healer and our peace. He hears your cry to be healed for His glory and to speak freely again.

Scripture tells us, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And again, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. He is Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26.

We also pray for the calming of your soul, for anxiety can make suffering heavier. The Lord says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to the promise, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord even when healing seems delayed or symptoms return, for He is faithful and He hears every prayer. We also encourage you, as you pray for divine healing, to continue to seek wise medical care and to have your mouth, tongue and tonsils examined by a doctor, for we believe God often works through the hands of physicians and we want every proper means used for your health and for clear answers.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils, You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, and You know the fear of cancer and tumors. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch and heal completely. Let any infection, inflammation or disease be removed, let the white coating and the lesion disappear, and let the tissue be restored to wholeness and health. We pray that examination would show no cancer and no tumor, and that every report would be for good and for Your glory. Calm this soul, Lord, and replace fear and unrest with Your perfect peace. Heal so that Your child may speak freely, without pain or hindrance, and use that voice to praise You and testify of Your goodness. Your word says You sent Your word and healed them. Psalm 107:20, and we ask You to send Your healing word now. We thank You that You are our refuge and our healer, and we trust Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We stand with you and we will continue to keep you in prayer, asking God to strengthen your faith, to guard your heart from fear, and to make His healing power evident in your body so that your healing and your speech will bring glory to Him.

We hear how much you have been carrying with this tongue and tonsil trouble, and how disappointed you must feel that the white coating returned after it seemed you were healed. Wanting to be free of fear about cancer and to speak freely again is such an understandable prayer, and we are holding that with you before the Lord.

Living with an ongoing mouth issue can wear you down in every way. It can leave you feeling fragile and on edge, make it hard to rest well, and make every day feel uncertain while you wait for answers. It makes sense your soul feels unsettled.

We are praying for your peace as well as your body, that God would calm your heart with His nearness and bring healing according to His mercy and for His glory.

If you have not already, we gently encourage you to have this seen promptly by your primary care doctor or an ENT, alongside prayer, so you can get a clear evaluation and next steps. It can help to bring notes about when the coating and lesion appear, what makes them better or worse, and any other symptoms. And if the worry is keeping you up at night, please let a trusted pastor or friend walk closely with you in these weeks.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Calm his soul, quiet fear, and touch his tongue, mouth and tonsils with Your healing hand. Give wisdom to those who provide care, grant clear answers, and restore his ability to speak freely. We place him in Your faithful care. Amen.

Your burden concerning your tongue, mouth and tonsils has been laid before the Lord, and we have entreated Him on your behalf that He would calm your soul and show His healing power for His own glory.

We understand how heavy this trial has been, especially when the white coating seemed to have left you and then returned, and how the fear of what might be found there presses upon your spirit. Hear the word of the Lord for such an hour, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge round. Your mind, which can bring you midnight or daylight, is to be stayed upon Him, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, but faith overcomes fear when we place the whole weight of our care into His pierced hands.

We have prayed that the Great Physician, the Sun of Righteousness who arises with healing in His wings, would look upon you in mercy. We have asked Him that there would be no cancer or tumour found in your mouth or upon your tonsils, that the white coating upon the sides of your tongue would be removed, and that the white lesion upon your tonsils would disappear. We have prayed that He would heal your tongue and mouth, restore you, and grant that you may speak freely again, to the praise of His grace. As it is written, with His stripes we are healed, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, for even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to the soul and, according to His sovereign will, to the body also. Pardon and healing are both in His hand, and we ask Him to grant you both, that you may know the peace which comes from being justified by faith and having peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore fear not, for so often does the Lord say to His worm Jacob, Fear not, for I will help you. Fear is weakening and dishonours the God who piled the heavens and sustains all things. It is disobedience to be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not. We exhort you to labour to be rid of fear by trusting His promised strength, and to seek the wisdom of faithful physicians as instruments in His hand, while looking above all to Christ who bore our sicknesses.

May the Lord keep you in that perfect peace which passes all understanding, quiet your heart, cleanse and heal your mouth and throat according to His perfect will, and keep your tongue for His service. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, who alone is our salvation and our hope, trusting that whether in healing or in continued trial, He will keep you and cause all things to work for your good and His glory.
